  59. I live in Brisbane, Australia and up until Roswell
  60. premiered i had never heard of Dido before. But i fell
  61. in love with the song straight away. But I have yet to
  62. hear it played on the radio. "Here With Me" is an
  63. awesome song and I love the rest of Dido's songs too.
  64. I have not been able to find Dido's album, but i
  65. downloaded all her songs in mp3 format. So i can
  66. listen to them whenever i'm at my comp. Not as good as
  67. the actual cd, but hey....it still rocks!

  165. Roswell Scripts.com has been giving me some problems, too. I don't know if 
  166. there is anything I can do to adjust it, but the screen that comes up every 
  167. time I click on one of the episode scripts, there isn't a arrow to scroll 
  168. down and I'm just stuck there. It's really annoying...

It is so great to have Roswell back!!!  I have been waiting so long for this.  I won't spoil anything for anyone who hasn't seen it yet, but it was good! All the girls looked really good, Micheal and Max's hair on the other hand... (but they are still gorgeous)  Not seeing Kyle was disappointing- I really wanted to see how he acted around the others now. Oh well, hopefully that will happen next week.

  369. "mind warp" was too funny.  I thought she was very
  370. earnest in her desire to be valuable to Max and not
  371. let him down.  Nice to know her gift has limits

  375. whole winning the war thing?  She went from being
  376. determined to ignore her alien side in the season one,
  377. to wearing 'battle leather' and running recon on the

  381. truly funny line in this episode came from him.

  383. On a more serious note, I'm glad to see there are
  384. friendships building outside the conventional couples.

  386. over the summer and have come to rely on each other. 
  387. Michael has a father figure in Valenti, though that's
  388. not acknowledged yet.  Max at least truly thinks in
  389. terms of the 'six of us.'

  431. Still not big on Tess. Writers haven't worked too hard
  432. to make me like her yet. She just seemed a little 
  433. desperate to get Max's approval. It will be interesting
  434. to see if the writers invest more time in her character.

  445. Seeing an actual person who told them she was their
  446. mother made a big impact on Iz, I think. She can't 
  447. confide in her earth mother, so I think she's holding
  448. this image on a pedastal of this alien mother who
  449. will truly be everything she wants. That's just MO, 
  450. though.

  470. I really think he is the only one. The others should take
  471. his lead. They have the 'humans' to thank for everything
  472. that has happened. The day Max healed liz started
  473. everything. That should be a good thing, because now
  474. they know their 'destiny' as far as learning to use their
  475. powers and such, but bad about the skins. and isn't 
  476. shed skin a convenient little calling card ;-)

  549. I'm starting to sympathize with her character a bit
  550. more each time I watch/rewatch an episode. There's
  551. been a lot of speculation on the boards about the
  552. Tess/Max/Liz triangle, and lots of people have
  553. wondered if Max & Tess might become intimate as part
  554. of this whole Destiny thing.  Several people have
  555. indicated they would stop watching the show if that
  556. happened and bemoaned the destruction of the Max/Liz
  557. relationship in that scenario. Obviously lots of
  558. people would be crushed over it, but many think that
  559. Max/Liz would still eventually get back together. But
  560. very few people, if any, seem to consider how this all
  561. might affect Tess.  Look at it from her point of view.
  562.  What if you finally got the man of your dreams
  563. (perhaps in her case literally), you slept together,
  564. and then he leaves for another woman?  The prevailing
  565. attitude is that Tess deserves whatever she gets, and
  566. I don't think that's fair.

  573. alien" crack was a scream.  He was always a great
  574. source of humor.  However, I have a slight beef with
  575. Nasedo.  Evidently after becoming Pierce, he went
  576. straight back to Washington, and the Pod People, as he
  577. called them, were left hanging all summer.  Did he
  578. take ANY time to tell them about life on the home
  579. world?  ANY time to give them more information on the
  580. war that enslaved that world?  Hell, what about simply
  581. telling them the NAME of this home world?  I would be
  582. happy with a name!

  590. Yeah, the idea of Nasedo and the Congresswoman was a
  591. bit icky, simply because Nasedo was such a lech about
  592. it.  The only reason for telling the Six and the
  593. viewers about it was to let us all know that sex
  594. between humans and aliens is quite possible.  But
  595. Maria caught on pretty quick to the implications of
  596. that with her birth control comment--maybe Nasedo
  597. couldn't impregnate a woman because he was fully
  598. alien, but Max & Michael certainly could.

  625. Ok I gotta jump in on this.  I watched the season premiere last night, 
  626. anticipating it like all you guys.  I have to say though, even though I still 
  627. love the show, I was kinda let down.

  629. First off, I must say that everyone looked great, with the exemption of 
  630. Brendan and majandra's hair.  I thought Shiri and Kate looked really pretty, 
  631. per usual and the guys looked really hot too.

  634. I even have to admit that Tess did not bother me nearly as much as she did at 
  635. the end of last season.  Maybe she really has accepted that Max will never be 
  636. with her.

  638. Overall it was OK, I hated the fact that all the couples weren't together :(  
  639. Just for some reason it had a different "feel" to it.  It just seemed a 
  640. little darker and moodier.  Although it was nice to see them acting a little 
  641. more like a group instead of three and three.

  643. I'm still going to watch most definitely, but I thought it was a little bit 
  644. of a disappointment.  Maybe, hopefully it will pick up next week, or maybe my 
  645. expectations were just way too high!

  777. a bod....but I also love the way his character is maturing!!  Jason has done
  778. such wonderful things with his character...so subtle.  Such a great change
  779. from the beginning of last season silent always looking at the floor
  780. whenever he walks in to the room...poor Michael hasn't gone anywhere...he is
  781. the same ol' rebellious Michael...seems to be out for his own good.  I am
  782. not saying I don't like Michael because I do...he is a good antagonist for
  783. Max. Always challenging him.  With Iz in the middle trying to even them out.
  784. Haven't figured out where Tess will come in.

  786.             I'm seriously going to miss Nasedo.  Nearly every
  787.             truly funny line in this episode came from him.

  789.             Great choice for what they did with him...now they
  790. are truly alone...I hated to see him go too...so funny and dry...Loved the
  791. scene in the Crashdown where 'Pierce' was confronted by that tourist...he so
  792. wanted to palm him on the chest!!  But held off.  I just about died!!

  794.             On a more serious note, I'm glad to see there are
  795.             friendships building outside the conventional
  796. couples.
  797.              Max and Maria obviously had a good time hanging out
  798.             over the summer and have come to rely on each other.

  994. OK, so everyone else has commented already, but I still feel the need to throw
  995. my $.02 in.
  996.  
  997. In random order:
  998. 1) I hate both Maria's and Michael's hair - and what was up with her 70's chick
  999. makeup?  Terrible.
  1000. 2) Tess was far more tolerable - nigh on likable, though I was still gratified
  1001. that Max isn't even considering being with her.  And Nasedo was actually very
  1002. amusing, and I hated him last year!  I also have to agree with whoever said that
  1003. the "Agent Pierce" body was hot when he was trying to seduce the congresswoman.
  1004. :)
  1005. 3) The scenes of Max/Nasedo and Michael/Valenti were interesting.  There was a
  1006. "father/son" dynamic with both sets (though somewhat distorted in the M/N set)
  1007. that I wouldn't have expected, and the Mi/V scene was particularly touching -
  1008. Valenti seemed very understanding of Michael's feelings, and Michael really
  1009. opened up to him.
  1010. 4) I don't know why people are so annoyed by Courtney - she was just acting like
  1011. a normal person as far as I can tell, and while she did flirt with Michael, he
  1012. didn't seem to respond at all (aside perhaps from simply noticing that she was
  1013. flirting with him). Maria's jealousy was cute.
  1014. 5) Grant is not all that cute, though he seemed nice enough. He didn't seem to
  1015. be really interested in Isabel in that way, though she definitely was - the age
  1016. difference, no doubt.
  1017. 6) Isabel seems a lot more secure in herself, despite the alien's relative lack
  1018. of knowledge about what needs to be done.
  1019. 7) Where the heck did this "king" and "royal four" thing come from?  It must
  1020. have been established during the summer - perhaps Nasedo told them that.
  1021. 8) Loved the Maria / Max friendship thing they had going on - despite the
  1022. romantic problems, Maria and Alex obviously grew closer to Max and Isabel over
  1023. the summer.  Michael, on the other hand, seems to be growing farther apart.
  1024. Tess has obviously not bonded with anyone except POSSIBLY Michael, though even
  1025. they didn't seem close.  She was almost pathetic, trying to get Max's approval
  1026. with hiding him from the people at the lab.
  1027. 9) Both the deputy and the congresswoman seemed rather cartoonish to me.
  1028. 10) Where the heck was Kyle?!?
  1029. 11) Plot holes.  The Physics class thing bothered me, as did the quick switch
  1030. from "maybe it's going to this lab" to "it's definitely going to be at this lab
  1031. tomorrow" - when did they get confirmation?  The congresswoman was a little too
  1032. sure that aliens were involved, and the deputy always had the EXACT worst thing
  1033. to say at any given moment.  And the big one - I'm sorry, but carbon dating can
  1034. only establish the age of items within a range of thousands of years - not even
  1035. within decades, much less enough precision to say "42 years"!
  1036.  
  1037. All in all, I give the episode mixed reviews.  It certainly setup the upcoming
  1038. year well, but at times the writing didn't seem up to its normal standard, and
  1039. sometimes the show simply didn't feel like "Roswell".  There were, however, a
  1040. number of scenes that gave me hope, so I'm reserving judgement until next week.
