  21. Dido is becoming more popular all the time!  I have always loved the Roswell 
  22. theme song. I have had two unexpected hearing of  "Here with me."  
  23.  
  24. The first occured a couple weeks ago.  I was in a tack shop (place you buy 
  25. stuff for horses) in New Hampshire, and on the radio what do I hear - but 
  26. Dido's "Here with me."  I was shocked and totally excited that it was being 
  27. played on the radio.  I am a die hard Roswell fan so it just made my day!  
  28. Unfortunately, I have no idea what radio station was playing but I liked the 
  29. other songs that were on that channel.

  31. My second sighting happened yesterday when I was watching a tape of my soap, 
  32. As The World Turns.  One of the characters turned on the new Dido CD, and 
  33. said they really liked the song "Here with me," and the other said they had 
  34. never heard of her, but that it was nice.  They played another song by her 
  35. later on.  Pretty cool, I'm glad shes getting some publicity.

  92. I tend not to watch television that much during the summer. Mostly due to
  93. the reruns which I have already seen. Shows like The X-Files, Roswell, BtVS,
  94. Angel, though this is the first "summer" for Roswell and Angel, lose me
  95. during the summer because, these shows are series and not like Law & Order,
  96. where one episode may have nothing to do with the next or last. I do tune in
  97. when there is an episode I prefer to see again. I "recruit" new viewers
  98. during the summer months, especially those who may have watched an episode
  99. or two during the regular season. I do make a point of taping the season
  100. finale of the past season, watching it right before the first show of the
  101. new season aires.

  104. fun, not implying that watching reruns are not fun :)

  125. Well, everyone knows how much I just *luv* to post and
  126. think I'm all right and stuff, but I'm not the only
  127. one. I have my best friend Emily that I've shown the
  128. greatness of Roswell to- and it has been good. She
  129. would like to rant a little about Alex and his
  130. "misinterpreted" idea about his *bass*. Here she is:

  132. Okay, I know this is all, like, petty and crap, but
  133. everywhere I see people referring to Alex playing his
  134. guitar: in fan-fiction, in re-caps of episodes, all
  135. over the internet. The only problem with this is that
  136. Alex doesn't play the guitar; he plays the bass. Watch
  137. "Blood Brother" and "Blind Date" again; he's sitting
  138. there playing a bass, not a guitar. There are two
  139. other guys in "The Whits" who play the guitar, one on
  140. rhythm and the other on lead (I can't remember their
  141. names), and Maria even looks at Alex and says
  142. something about turning down the reverb on the bass.
  143. So, in conclusion, Alex plays the bass, not the
  144. guitar. Thank you. I'll get off my soapbox now.

  177. Just giving the update on the campaign. Again, all
  178. this information is listed on the fanforum Roswell2
  179. board for anyone's perusal, but a number of people
  180. don't have much time to check out the board these
  181. days....
  182.  
  183. The Silver Handprints and Orbs are still going to
  184. happen, and webpages are being constructed to explain
  185. the details regarding those 'waves.'  However, at this
  186. time, nobody is supposed to send a handprint anywhere.
  187.  WB has heard the fans--hey, we got the 13 didn't
  188. we?--but sending anything to their offices right now
  189. might actually annoy them.
  190.  
  191. So instead of mailing to those offices, the initial
  192. campaign is a sponsor blitz.  Two or three times each
  193. week, three new sponsors will be listed on the
  194. fanforum board.  Every fan is asked to email/submit a
  195. feedback form thanking the sponsor for their support
  196. of Roswell.  I will try and post the new sponsor
  197. information as I see it.  This weekend kicks off the

  543. I have looked and looked and looked...and at least in any official form, you 
  544. still can't buy it.  The guys at Suncoast must be starting to hate me since I 
  545. ask every time I'm there.  :)  But I'd check around on the internet.  You 
  546. might be able to find the tabs somewhere.  Would you let me know if you find 
  547. anything though?

  578. Essentially, you can go to any craft store such as
  579. Hobby Lobby, and buy an oval shaped wooden object,
  580. along with some spray paint.  Some people layer
  581. several different colors of paint together, but I
  582. think a basic silver would do just fine.  
  583.  
  584. Spray paint your 'easter egg' and then take a darker
  585. color of paint (black I guess) and trace the alien
  586. symbol on it.  
  587.  
  588. Now you can get really creative and use an Easter egg
  589. that opens up.  Spray paint that, and put some kind of
  590. wacky message inside the egg, maybe a We Believe note
  591. or something.  However, I'm going to have a hard
  592. enough time explaining oval orbs to kith and kin, so
  593. I'll be avoiding the jack-in-the-box approach...
