  82. My oh my, this is what happens when I let the rest of my life overwhelm me
  83. and I have to fly through two weeks worth of GH in one day...

  85. Jason & Brenda & the wilderness:  Well, my sister was getting annoyed with
  86. me because I wouldn't shut up and stop saying that Jason wasted a PERFECTLY
  87. good opportunity to get rid of her once and for all and bury the body where
  88. no one would ever find her.  But, that aside, I did really like the bonding
  89. moments between the two of them.  And mostly I like that, even though they
  90. got to the point of not hating each other anymore, they still don't like or
  91. trust each other.  I was also ESPECIALLY glad to hear Brenda admit that she
  92. and Sonny were doomed because of his lies and her wearing the wire.  Truer
  93. words were never spoken.

  95. Jason & the Quartermaines:  I was rather partial to the way he kicked
  96. through the door. :-)
  97.  
  98. Robin & Jason:  FINALLY.  And I don't just mean them sleeping together
  99. (though, that too).  Guza FINALLY backed off, and Robin FINALLY stopped
  100. sounding like a sanctimonious little brat.
  101.  
  102. Luke & Alexis:  <happy dance>  Woo hoo!!  I love this.  I love them.  They
  103. are so incredible together.  The only thing cooler than the two of them,
  104. was the two of them with Helena and Bobbie thrown into the mix, too.
  105. Bobbie clobbering Helena was CLASSIC.  My only nagging concern, and it's in
  106. no way anything more than mere speculation on my part, is that in
  107. conjunction with the whole General Homicide thing (along with Luke and
  108. Alexis' plans to kill her), GH might actually get rid of her.  I sure as
  109. hell hope not.
  110.  
  111. Jax & Brenda:  Well, even though I seriously dislike both characters on
  112. their own, I'm actually not minding them together nearly as much, anymore.
  113. Mostly with the comedy, though.  I liked their bet and people watching on
  114. the train.  That was actually pretty cute.
  115.  
  116. Stefan & Katherine:  Painful.  Fast-forward.  I'll be so glad when Laura
  117. walks in the door and sends that storyline spinning in an even remotely
  118. enjoyable direction.
  119.  
  120. Lucky & Lizzie:  I loved Lizzie's conversation with Bobbie.  And I loved
  121. the fact that she and Lucky discussed Laura.  That was such a great
  122. conversation.  And I really like the way they are setting it up so that
  123. Lizzie feels connected to Laura on one level, and yet totally horrified and
  124. mystified by her on another.  That is very cool storytelling.  Her torching
  125. dinner was cute, too.
  126.  
  127. Ned:  Ned and Alexis.  Ned and Carly.  Ned was just cool the past couple of
  128. weeks.  Though, you know, for someone who has found himself the victim of
  129. blackmail as often as he has (and with leverage far less persuasive than
  130. imminent death), you'd think Ned would have just a TAD bit of sympathy for
  131. Alexis' situation.  But him going to her to ask her to h*lp Carly, because
  132. his fears for Michael growing up in the house were the same as Lois' for
  133. Brook, was very cool.  And I think that needs to be tapped into more often
  134. to h*lp keep the distinction clear as to why Ned is breaking rank on this
  135. issue.
  136.  
  137. Justus & Taggart:  Dara who?  Man, those two by themselves crack me up.
  138. That meeting at Luke's, when Dara was sitting with Jerry, had me ROTF!!!
  139. Hysterical.  Although I am glad they didn't cop out and have Justus back
  140. down on his charges against Taggart.
  141.  
  142. Mac & Felicia:  I don't know what I think of those two yet.  I don't like
  143. Felicia at all, but I think that's mostly because KW annoys me.  But at
  144. times I like them together, but I think most of the time they leave me with
  145. the most overwhelming sense of "been there, done that" and it's just too
  146. redundant to watch.  Maybe it's just because I think Felicia is a
  147. monumental hypocrite who lets a totally unremorseful Tony off the hook
  148. after she spent MONTHS trying crucify a HIGHLY remorseful Kevin.  Maybe
  149. it's just my allergy to blonds.

  151. I think that's about all I can think of at the moment.

  153. But that's probably just because my brain is still fried from seeing Sonny.

  360. The only thing I loved more than the FABULOUS history-based riot act that
  361. Bobbie read Tony yesterday, was Bobbie and Carly later.  Wow.  And when
  362. Bobbie showed up at the hospital and snapped at Carly, and then started
  363. crying, I lost it.

  365. I loved Robin and Sonny, too.  Though, Robin still irritated the hell out
  366. of me when she was standing there making excuses for Tony.

  368. And I ESPECIALLY love that, at least on the surface, Sonny has a reason
  369. OTHER than Brenda for coming back to town.  I know it's just an excuse, but
  370. if he'd walked in saying he was back for her, I would have probably started
  371. crying as I hit the fast-forward button.

  373. Obviously it won't last, but I'm glad there is at least something else
  374. driving this return.

  376. And Jerry's smarminess factor just increases on a daily basis.  Yeesh.  I
  377. don't like Jax because I find him to be an unethical hypocrite and
  378. occasionally too slimy for my taste (nevermind the blond part), but he
  379. doesn't hold a CANDLE to his brother.  I guess the only consolation is that
  380. Jerry makes no pretense about having any morals at all.  Still, yuck.
