Not much of an expert on the traditional stuff. I seem to remember though that someone posted a "recommended list" some months back. You could find it in the ultraworld list archives if you had a couple of days to spare!
Anyway, I wanted to recommend 4 contemporary dub (?) CD's that I'm playing at the moment;
1) Dub Squad - Dub in Ambient,
2) Hicksville - Celtic Cross,
3) Interior Horizons, &
4) Liquid dub 7.
The last 3 are available online (ie, cheap) from "www.Liquidsounddesign.com". Not your tradional dub, but wonderful spacey music. Makes me realise what crap my own mixing efforts are: "Ohh, my god are we ever in Hicksville"!
Anyway, enjoy college!!
cheers
bill
