ya know, i've WANTED to do ths (very badly) but never been able to spare
the time.. (to tell the truth, i've even had dreams about it.) and while
my job situation is such that i might be able to swing a few more shows
next time around, me and a few of my pals are determined to be partying
with the Orb this New Years! (unlike the rest of the planet, which will no
doubt be listening to that horrendous Prince song).
any hint at where they're planning to be? as soon as anyone knows, clue me
in, as i'm buying a plane ticket and packing my bags - i can't think of
anyplace i'd rather be at the turn of the millennium!!!

Subject: (orb) On Tour Thread Away.
My favorite Orb gig was in South Beach Miami, It truley Was Epic!!
It was the most expensive concert I had ever been to... Like 30 bucks a ticket or something. So I make the drive from the Suncoast of FL tward the SOBE area!!! Sweet smells, shopping malls, sexy models, intriguing locals, and vast horizons.... I drive to Miami that night and my buddies had some lagers in the fridge already. I sucked down two of those through a straw and got my self reeling in style. So off to the show!! It is like 11:00 p.m. already they are on!!! Damn Late!!
So, the herbal ecstacy booth was a trip, 7 of those and your right and bright. I next located my best friends brazillian girlfriend and she scooped me some Brazillian energy seeds, picked that week!!! I had not much experience with the seed trip so I was pretty much wasted by now.....
.....of all the songs only LFC and the pounding of Assassin are still in my memory. I think I was standing close to Andy Hughes. I remember his long hair. It was a shy moment. Then system 7 was on and the BPM got to fast so we bolted. I went to an after hours of course.
I surfed the Sebastian Inlet on a weak incoming tide the next day. Then I totaled my Acura Integra!!! Don't ask. I then drove the wreck all the way across the state to home. Then went to the show that night at The Old Ritz Theater... Masquerade. I think I had to take a taxi home.....
" ahhhhhhh those were the days" BTW my favorite sample.
