i think it was mentioned before, but s.a.l.t is the:
Strategic Arms Limitation Treaty
aimed at eliminating the proliferation of nuclear weapons->possibly
preventing an apocolypse....
allowing man to exist as a "species of pure thought"
are you with me?
You'd probably have to ask the Orb directly to find out what the song
really means though

I went to the local "used cd/book" shop today to find some posters. I
bought a bjork poster and some other stuff, and on my way out the door I
looked up at the ceiling. There was this huge ass u.f.off promo poster.
Totally blew my mind, this thing is like 4x6ft. Considering Im in the
middle of nowhere in northern michigan, it made my day. just had to share
my joy with everyone :)

Subject: (orb) Sound of the Surround type
Hi Orbbies!
I bought myself a late Chrissy present a few weeks back....a Sony home
theatre amp. It's fantastic!
I've been listening to all my CD's in surround, the results are quite
impressive. The music just fills the room and moves all around you (but
hey, that IS the general idea of surround :) Especially the version of
Assassin on Live'93. That wicked sound at the start of the track swirls all
around the room.....VERY effective!
Also, FSOL's ISDN and Life Forms would have to be the best CD's I've heard.
Does anyone know if ISDN was in surround? It really does sound amazing.
Has anyone else listened to the Orb in surround?

As a matter of fact, I was just going to tell the list that I found TWO
copies of the first Peel Sessions. I didn't pick them up, but if
anybody is interested, I'm sure I can still get them. E-mail me
privately if interested.

Been Contemplating going to the show... But don't know yet...
There really aren't any GOOD bars near the HOB... It's pretty Expensive and
Touristy around that area... You could find a bunch of really cool bars if
you go a bit west of there...
LavaLounge,
EmptyBottle
Dannys Pub.
And theres a buch in Wicker Park...
