This will be a DIFFERENT and EXCITING meeting!
If you've ever needed to remotely control a server, then you need to
discover Key-View II. This advanced remote access technology from Cybex
provides remote access to servers and other data center equipment even if
the LAN is down. When used in combination with one of Cybex's multi-user KVM
switches, such as the XP4040, remote users can access multiple servers just
as they would on-site.
Control your server room or branch servers regardless of where you or your
servers are located! Any computer with a modem and pcAnywhere installed can
access the Key-View II. Once connected and authenticated, the remote user
can take total control. Cybex gives you the power that software can't -
access and control of your servers, even if they are locked up.
Key-View II is a hardware solution operating completely independent of your
operating system or applications. No remote access hardware or software is
needed on your attached servers. Key-View II works with any operating
system that will run on your servers, including future versions that are not
yet released. DOS, Windows 95/98 and Windows NT are all compatible with the
Key-View II. Key-View II supports 2, 4, 16 or 256 colors in 640 x 480, 800
x 600 and 1024 x 768 graphics modes. All you need is a standard VGA/SVGA
video card.
KVM SWITCH COMPATIBLE
Connect the Key-View II to your existing Cybex
multi-user KVM switch and control every attached server remotely! MORE
RELIABLE THAN SOFTWARE. With Key-View II, there is no need for costly
software licenses or operating system upgrades to the servers you are
accessing. You can even access servers that are completely locked up, giving
you control that software alone can't offer. Key-View II lets you take
control of your server room or branch servers, just as if you were sitting
at the console.
MULTI-LEVEL SECURITY
Protect your servers with the multi-level, multi-vendor, multi-mode security
in Key-View II. Audio and visual alerts inform you of user access. Encrypted
password protection and event tracking enable you to stay in control of your
valuable information.
Additional information can be found at http://www.cybex.com.
Novell Salt Lake is located across from Temple Square. FREE validated
parking is provided at Crossroads Plaza. The closest UTA TRAX stop is
the Temple Square Station (150 West South Temple) - very close.
Elevators at Gateway Tower West are locked after 6:00 PM, the stairs
remain open.

Dear NUI Member:
It is a very busy time in the NUI world. We are preparing to host the annual
NUI Leadership Summit here in Salt Lake City. Nearly 200 local group presidents
will be in attendance and special guests will include Novell CEO Eric Schmidt.
Also, look for major announcements regarding upcoming NUI Education and NUI
Career resources.
Through the week beginning March 27, NUI will be running the Hands-On-Training
Lab at BrainShare 2000. Over 3000 participants are expected to take the 1 ╜
hour seminar on migrating from NW4x to NW5.1. Throughout that week visit
www.nuinet.com and click on the NUI@BRAINSHARE 2000 link for photos and updates
of the goings-on at the biggest Novell conference of the year.
If you will be attending BrainShare 2000 make sure to stop by the NUI booth and
pick up your membership ribbon. This will get you into the NUI Hospitality Room
and you will also receive NUI benefits from the BrainShare/Novell Education
Learning Zone. Also, look for special seating for NUI members in the front rows
of all keynote sessions
BrainShare on Tour begins in early April. They are currently looking for
qualified NUI members to teach select classes. A free pass to that BrainShare
stop will be given as compensation. For a listing of the tour stops and the
available openings see the attached pdf file titled "BSOT".
Novell Education is hosting a national tour for its successful NetWare 5.0 to
5.1 Spotlight Technical Training Seminar. For information on the seminar
content, and tour schedule, as well as special NUI pricing, see the attached pdf
file titled "Novell Ed".
Finally, watch for the upcoming NUI Sponsored WebCast for all NUI Groups and
Members! SAN's, SMS, and Disaster Recovery from Leading Industry Experts:
Novell, Compaq, and VERITAS will be presenting. The webcast will be presented
live on April 11, 2000 at 8:00 PM Eastern time, 5 PM Pacific time. Log on to
www.nuinet.com and use the special link from the index page to see the
broadcast. You will need RealPlayer. For more details on the content of the
webcast please see the attached pdf file titled "Webcast".
