Upon playing South park multiplayer for the first time the other night I
discovered ( much to my dislike) that the codes for each secret character
needs to be inputted so I'm wondering if there is a code to unlock all
characters at once?
on an offtopic mode ( as I can't find a decent psx list) in the new game
Silent Hill I am stuck trying to get the secret from the piano ( on the
second floor of the school). the code has something to do with black and
white birds but I can't figure out the sequence.
if any listees have played the game you can reply to me privately at
gargoyle@iol.ie
thanks in advance

If you ask me, all this talk about the Playstation having such great games is
a bunch of poop. From what I've played and seen, there's no greater amount of
games there then there are here. Perhaps people ought to play games more,
rather than pass them off.

Gex 3: Deep Cover Gecko
Need For Speed: High Stakes
Triple Play 2000
Army Men 3-D
Legend of Legaia
Guardian's Crusade
R-Types
Silent Hill
Syphon Filter
Marvel Super Heroes Versus Street Fighter
Those are all I could think of. It's just too bad Guide 64 isn't around
anymore or this would have been so much easier.

Hmm. I have 2 N64 games from 1996 (Mario & Wave Race), 4 N64 games from 1997
(Star Fox, Mario Kart, Blast Corps, Goldeneye), 1 N64 game from 1998 (Zelda),
and 1 N64 game from 1999 (Beetle Adventure Racing). Those eight games are the
ones I deem worth as keepers. Comparing that to the PlayStation games I deem
as keepers (Resident Evil DC, Resident Evil 2, Jet Moto, Castlevania, Street
Fighter Collection, Street Fighter Collection 2, Final Fantasy 7, Xenogears,
Soul Blade, Silent Hill, Gran Turismo, Street Fighter EX + Alpha, Need For
Speed 3, Need For Speed 4, Einhander, Metal Gear Solid, Motor Toon Gran Prix,
Bloody Roar, and Spyro The Dragon) it's obvious to me what system has more
better games.
The N64 and PlayStation are both great systems, but I prefer the PSX over the
N64 and I honestly think there are more great games on the PSX than on the
N64. Oh, and I think Xenogears, not Zelda 64, was the best game of 1998. But
I'm not saying the N64 is crap, those eight N64 games I own are all top notch
9.5 to 10 out of 10 games. But the same goes for the 23 PSX games I own. And
believe me, I'd have a lot more PSX games and maybe two more N64 games if I
didn't stop spending my money on Genesis, SNES, Saturn, and NES games. ;)

Hm. I have 20+ some N64 games all of which I deem fun. And no Playstation.
It's a shame some people take things a little too seriously.

I guess it's just personal preference, then.. I have 20 N64 games, at least
17 of which I consider keepers, and there are some really good games which I
ended up just borrowing from my friends for extended periods of time and not
buying (Goldeneye,Waverace, Mario). I guess I'm more of a multiplayer fan..
I noticed that out of the PSX games you like, only 10 have multiplayer,
while of my 20 N64 games 17 have multiplayer. Also, you're obviously not a
sports fan, and there are a bunch of good sports games on the N64 (probably
the same amount as on the PSX).

Hello all! I have a question about BAR... I was wondering what the
boxes with little flowers(?) on them do. I've found two of them on
Coventry Cove and I don't know what they do. BTW, when you get one, the
announcer will say "groovy"... Thanks for any help!!

They activate Cheats. The one in the left haystack near the barn, for
example, gives you the cheat menu. Everything after that gives you cheats.
What I want to know is where the rest of them are=)

there's a FAQ at www.gamefaqs.com that lists most of the rest of the flower
boxes, and where they are (although I think he has some of the cheats mixed
up). He also tells you where all of the bonus point boxes are.. I mean ALL.

For those of you that don't know, LittleKathy's quotes are always contained
within a HTML attachment at the end of her posts. They're not quoted with
">"s like the rest of us use. If I knew how to fix it, I would, but I
don't. It must be something special to WebTV users. Frankly I'm more
annoyed by reading people's complaints about there being "no quote" and I am
by clicking on the attachment to read the original post.

Well, there used to be a site with a ton of music, but it doesn't seem
to be working now. Maybe just try findsongs.com and type in videogame
titles.

You asked the right guy.
Heres some on Zelda:
http://gamingzone.virtualportal.net/zelda/mmedia.html
This is a site with very rare files... some are real audio though:
http://members.xoom.com/Prophetvgm/ (its currently down but will be up
in a day or two).
This site has a variety of wavs, mods, mp3's, midi's, real audio etc.
It also has lots of links on it to other music sites.
http://NESMania.simplenet.com/
Try them out and in the meantime I'll look for others I have but can't
find at the moment.

Don't forget www.vgmusic.com! Well, most of what they have is MIDI format,
but if you have a wavetable sound card or the Crescendo plug-in they
sometimes sound just as good or better than the real thing!

Hmm, maybe this isn't that newsworthy, but it seems IGN64 (and possibly all
of IGN) will go back to white backgrounds.

Subject: [N64] King of Pro Baseball & Online Retailers
Back in August 97 (I think) I bought my first N64 import, King of Pro
Baseball, from http://www.tronixweb.com . It was great, and my friends
loved the four player. For some reason I ended up selling it, and have
regretted it ever since.
I saw it about a year ago at Tronix, and some at eBay but never bought
one.
My question is, what are the best N64 imports stores online? There
aren't any copies of the game at tronixweb.com,
therage.com,buyrite1.com, eBay, or Yahoo auctions. Do you guys know any
good online retailers where I may be able to find this game?

Yeah, but are those among the top games for the console (with the possible
exception of NFS). If you hold the N64 to the same standards, then there
have been plenty of decent is not blockbuster games since the beginning of
the year.

What is so great about waverace? I liked the graphics and everything
but I don't quite understand why people like it so much.

Actually, I think I wrote that, not Trey. Waverace had a GREAT physics
system, which is actually pretty hard to do when you are racing on water,
plus the controls are very responsive. Also, it's a change from the regular
car or hovercraft racing game or whatever, and it's done well. The tracks
are also really well put-together. I guess the thing that makes it my
favorite racer over any other game is cause it's not a driving game, it's a
jetski game, so that extra novelty pushes it over the edge.
