So far my highest score is 1220. But that was only my 5th try. I'm sure that
2000 isn't too difficult with enough practice, but there better be a reward
for it.

Not so. You can get away with shooting two scientists. Like in the Facility
level I usually kill two. One to get a DD44 from and another to get the Class

My favorite is the Spirit Temple. I won't try spoil anything, but I like the
unique approach to beating this one. And the Boss of the Spirit Temple is
really cool, especailly after you beat the Boss. I found it quite funny. Not
as funny as a gay librarian*, but close.

How can anyone say that Goldeneye isnt violent?
If running around shooting people in any part of their anatomies
and watching them reel around in agony isnt violent
Id like to see what is. There is blood in Goldeneye so it doesnt
spurt out and cover the walls but it is there and is quite effective.
In Britain I think the legal age limit on goldeneye is 15?
I think that is fair :) How many parents still buy these products
not really understanding the content of the game, probably loads.
So I am all for censorship of the young. As I am an old gamer
it makes no difference to me anyway....

I have just beaten the Spirit Temple and formed the Rainbow Bridge to Ganon's
Keep, just to let you know where I am in the game. So I looked at my item
subscreen and noticed (how could I not) that some items are not yet mine. I
have the Fire Arrow & the Light Arrow but not the Ice Arrow. I think I know
where this is (Guerdo Training Grounds) so I'm not yet worried about it. Now
on to the more important items. I'm missing a Goddess Spell. I have Farove's
Wind & Din's Fire (excuse my spelling if the names aren't exactly correct but
my computer is nowhere near my consoles so this is all coming from the memory
of an insomniac) but that's it. I'm guessing there's another Great Faerie (or
is it Fairy?, darn it Dan, can't you get anything right?), if so where the
bloody blue blazes is she? Also, is there a fourth bottle? I got the ones from
Lon Lon Ranch... you know, I can't remember where I got the other ones from.
But anyway, as Teenage Link (17 isn't an adult as far as I'm concerned) I have
3 bottles, so is there a fourth one?
A few more questions I have. What determines if a Poe I capture will be a
regular Poe or a Big Poe? There is a big stone block near Ganon's Keep with
the Crecent & Star symbol on it (looks like the crecent & star from the
Sahrawi Arab Democracy Republic's flag)? When I get close the blue button icon
says "grab" but Likn won't touch the darn thing. Anybody know?

Now does anybody have some tips for fishing? All I seem to be able to
catch is 6 & 7 pound fish; and that's as Teenage Link.
Trey
I might be able to help you on this one. First thing you want to do is
look for the lunkers. Most of the time, the larger fish are in the
deepest part of the pond. They are also usually the ones with lockjaw
and you may have to cast a few times before they will bite. They will
also be reluctant to chase your bait down, so you have to put it right
on their nose (just like real fishing).
If you have a rumble pak, there is a little trick you can use when
reeling in a fish which will help you land it without losing it. Once
you have the fish hooked, constantly move the joy stick in a
semi-circle fashion around the lower half of the control pad. Always
look for the lowest point of resistance and reel your fish in at that
point. Of course, this is constantly changing so you have to be on your
toes always looking for the least resistance (the least amt. of rumble).
On smaller fish this sweet spot is easier to find. Often by just
moving your joystick left and right, you can find the least resistance
and reel the fish in (you will see Link move his pole from one side and
then the other). However, with the larger "hawgs" (a bass fishing term)
it is a constant struggle looking for the least resistance and the
location changes frequently.
Being a bass fishing junkie, I find this part of the game pretty
entertaining. If I remember correctly, my biggest fish so far is 16
pounds. Hope this is helpful and good luck.

Well, mine is Fire Temple...
Graphics are pretty cool and puzzles are great!
I hated water temple a lot because i got stuck for a while.
You konw where you get your sling shot upgrade? Well behind a chest,
there is a block where you play a song, and then you go down there
and there is a tunnel with water and some underwater tornadoes? Well
i didn't see that block at first... Just some little thing
sometimes...

How do you give that kid the mask, I've tried talking to him with and
without the mask on and he just makes a smart comment but won't take it.

Hmm that's a toughie. I just walked up to him with the mask on. Just be sure
it's a little boy you're talking to and not Dampe.

No it's the boy, maybe you have to be a certain way along in the
game, I don't know. He just tells me how little kids can't be in the
graveyard, so he pretends to look like Dampe. Then when I put on the
mask he says something about how I look but keeps walking along.

Speaking of lame stats, I just started playing FF3 and it has the weirdest
stat I have ever seen: how many steps you've taken. What's up with that?

Some sort of challenge to catch some player somewhere.

You object for the same reason everyone else in their right mind does. We
know that it's not movies, or T.V., or video games, or even books that make
those little kids open up on their class mates, it's because they're ALREADY
screwed in the head.

Hmmm, I'd say Water Temple is not that good. Pain in the a$$ to
switch back and forth between the regular boot and the heavy one so you
can walk in water. I don't really like swiming that much.
Which Temple/doungeon do you guys like best?
Is there anyone on this list who hasn't played zelda? I guess if there
are any... they would have uns*bscribe by now with all the zelda posts.

The two most fantastic events/places in the game was the Middle Boss (Dark
Link) and the Middle Boss room of the Water Temple, and the very last fight
with Ganondorf. I haven't done it yet, but I'm going to play through the game
again with my VCR hooked up to the T.V. and make myself a tape with what I
think are the best scenes of the game.

<< I have just beaten the Spirit Temple and formed the Rainbow Bridge to
Ganon's
I got the ones
from
Lon Lon Ranch... you know, I can't remember where I got the other ones from.
But anyway, as Teenage Link (17 isn't an adult as far as I'm concerned) I
have
3 bottles, so is there a fourth one?
A few more questions I have. What determines if a Poe I capture will be a
regular Poe or a Big Poe? There is a big stone block near Ganon's Keep with
the Crecent & Star symbol on it (looks like the crecent & star from the
Sahrawi Arab Democracy Republic's flag)? When I get close the blue button
icon
says "grab" but Likn won't touch the darn thing. Anybody know?
Trey >>
Okay. You will find Naru's Love in the desert. There is a crack in one of
the walls around the Collosuss, blast it to get some love (comes in VERY
handy).
A regular Poe will be purple with a frown on it's face after you defeat it,
and they circle you. A Big Poe will be yellow with a smile on it's face, and
they move away from you at about Mach 10.
There are two of these columns. One in the Fire room of Ganon's Castle, and
then the one you were talking about. You need the Golden Gauntlets to move
these colums. The Gauntlets can be found in the Shadow Room of Ganon's
Castle.
