No, all the extra programming in SGB carts will have nothing to do with the GBC.
Those borders are obviously not used, but even the preset colors.

Most likely not.
The Super Gameboy was made a lot of time ago and was not meant to work with the
enhanced Gameboy Color Power.
It is basically a gameboy for the snes, and the gameboy cannot make gbc games
work.

I was wondering about that.
The GBC colorizes existing games, so I wonder how the GBC will look.
If they are smart, the GBC will be able to identify a bunch of popular titles
to give a good looking default color set.
I saw how it game metroid gb a proper color set, so this might be how the GBC
does it.
The best colors for the GBcamera would be grayscale for the images. That is
what the lense sees.
Hopefully it will have a higher refresh rate (but only if the screen was the
limiting factor, not the camera).
Oh darn.. that sounds confusing, let me know.

GB C will work like a super gameboy, so yes, Super Game Boy games should work as
expected on GBC.

NO!!! Look, Super GameBoy is a GameBoy Emulator with bells and whistles
Nintendo released for the SuperNintendo. Therefore, the emulator is designed
with the GB's original 1 MHZ Z-80 processor in mind with as well as RAM an
system specifications of the original GB. Unless Nintendo releases some sort
of patch developers could include into the game cartridges to overide the
coding in the SuperGameBoy , then I don't see how SuperGameBoy can run GB C
games. The patch is a possibility though. Especially when we consider that
games for the GBC will get as big as 32-mbits (4Mbytes). Games like those
are already big for the SNES, and in GBC's context they will be HUGE !
(GameBoy colour's lower resolution and reduced colour pallete means game
artwork for GBC will take up a lot less space than artwork for the SNES) so
I'm sure if Nintendo really wanted do, they can find space to fit a patch
into the ROM.
But that's looking way too far down the road. My immediate wishlist is to
see a completely new Zelda released and another Mario game. Both games by
the way are rumroured to be two of six top secret games Nintendo is
developing for the GB C.
Maybe there's a Star Fox GB in there as well (hint hint)...

I understand that, but I was under the impression that it could be used to

I read in NG that the original gameboy can handle 1.25 polygons, and the GBC
could handle 2.5.
Neato.
I am sure that is if they are true 3d polygons. Games like battlezone have more.
So SF GB is a possibility technically wise.

Kobe Bryants NBA Courtside

F1 Grand Prix
Diddy Kong Racing
1080 Snowboarding

what do you mean ñeverñ. If it doesn't, I'm going to blow a gasket.
The snes game Earthbound was the best game I have ever played in my
life. Better than all the Final Fantasys and Marios combined. Why
would they cancel it now? They've come pretty far and it is a pretty
big game. I mean, its already 32 megs ALREADY! It was the first 32 Meg
cart before Zelda (Zelda was originally going to be 128 megabits). I
know that Earthbound was going to be on the DD but when they took it
off, they had to get rid of most of the innovation like that part where
there were like 20 different ways to beat it and every single thing you
do is recorded in the game. But they had to make it smaller (from a 64
meg disk (i think) to a 32 meg cart). Anyways, I am looking forward to
this game just as much and maybe even more than Zelda 64. If your
listening Nintendo MAKE EARTHBOUND PLEASE!!!!!!

No need to get all hyper about it dude. And last time I checked the original
Game Boy has a 2.14 MHz 6502 processor, not a 1 MHz Z-80.

Star Fox? Street Fighter? Polygons? I don't think you'd get too much with 2.5
polygons. And if there is to be a GBC Star Fox I bet it'd be a side-scroller

The camera was the limiting factor *not* the screen.

In the UK, Goldeneye was unavailable just about everywhere in December &
most of January/February, though there were still small shipments coming
in. Nintendo just totally miscalculated demand & couldn't keep up. As a
result, Nintendo sold less games/consoles last Christmas than they should
have done.
Fortunately for Nintendo, in the run up to Christmas, you couldn't buy a
Playstation for love or money in the UK - *everywhere* was sold out.
Companies ended up *importing* PSXs from mainland Europe, demand was so high.
And Sony *still* outsold Nintendo.

I was a bit lucky on getting GE007 in the UK, I pondered for a week whether
to get it and by that time they had all been sold out... However I was most
surprised
to find one copy in EB just on the offchance. A lucky small shipment :) a few
weeks later.

Anywho, explain Silicon Valley. What kind of game is it? And Body

Actually...I'm looking forward mostly to Body Harvest. If any game can
bring me back to the N64, it should be that one. I've followed it since I
heard about it in GameFan WAY back when (first shots of N64 games...before
it came out). And I've seen that although the idea is close to the same,
overall make-up has changed. Or have I been inhaling too much second-hand
smoke?
