What all of them? The truth is that your guess is as good as mine. There is
no site with accurate European release dates.

Well, I don't know too much about how this works, but you know how when you
beat Mario Kart 64 and the title screen changed? The N64's memory changed the
game. Well, I'm thinking that Rare may have a little piece of code programed
into Banjo-Tooie that changes the N64's memory which in turn changes Banjo-
Kazooie when you next play it. I don't think it's too far fetched to think
that the N64's RAM is what is blocking the secrets in Banjo-Kazooie. Gordan or
anyone from DMA, could this be possible?
~Matt
<<I was thinking lock on technology, like Sonic and Knuckles. And I doubt
you'll be able to access it with a gameshark. Rare probably anticipated
that and made it impossible. We'll have to see, though. I for one am very
excited at the though of Banjo-Tootie. >>

Theoretically, if a game like Sonic and Knuckles (or Banjo-Tooie) was
programmed to have other games which follow after it be able to plug in to the
original game, wouldn't it be possible to maybe raise the total cart size of
the combined games to something extremely large? Like let's say Zelda 64 has
an option where you stick Zelda 64 II under it, and each game is 256 megabits.
Would that enable Zelda 64 II to use Zelda 64's cart memory to make the total
size of Zelda 64 II 512 bits? Wow, that'd be on huge game (for the N64,
anyway).
~Matt
<<that would be cool if it turns out to be a Sonic & Knuckles type thing, that
was always cool, and then they make new games that will hook up and you can
paly, it would kick ass

If there was going to be some sort of 2-in-1 cartridge thing then
it sounds feasible enough. (BTW, it's Gordon, not Gordan 8))

Sorry, it doesn't work that way. The memory you're talking about
is ROM memory - it can't be 'reused' like that.

Whoops, sorry. So that would be possible? That brings up an interesting way to
do sequels on the N64. Maybe we'll see a lot of sequels doing this, which is
kinda like getting cart space for free for a new game if you already own the
original.

You're all barking up the wrong tree. I have a fair idea how to do it. It
involves your memory pack that plugs into the joypad. The sequel simply
writes a save game there with some specific information, in a format
they've already decided upon. The first game looks for this info each time
you load it & if it sees it, opens up the new areas.
Panzer Dragoon Saga does this - it's the third game in the series, and once
you have a save game on your memory area, if you go back & play the second
game in the series, all the secrets are active.
Nothing really new.

No chance. You're *not* getting 'free space'. BanjoKazooie has a certain
amount of its cart space dedicated to these extra levels. Carts are ROM -
you can't go changing that once it's made.
Think of it this way... You've just bought a game where the company aren't
letting you play it all until it suits them.

Thanks, I didn't know you could do the multiplayer thing. Only problem is I
don't have any Nintendo friends....hell i don't have any friends.:)
As someone else mentioned I've tried Tip Tup and found him harder to control,
but I'll try some more. Someone else mentioned try try again, well believe me I
have and I just can't get anywhere on that trophy race on my own. Oh well maybe
I'll just give it up cause you really don't get that much from beating diddy
kong except the reverse tracks. Oh well I'll probably come back to it.
Thanks

I finally got pilotwings which I had played at a friends once (who since
sold his system) and I love it. In one I've finished a lot of it. Does anyone
know of some good sights with some hints for the harder levels?? One thing great
about that game is the extra games you get by finishing levels.

You have to remember that any space reserved for the sequel
like this is lost from the original game, so you get extra levels
in the sequel but the first game is smaller. Mind you, before
anyone heard about this I didn't hear much moaning about
BK being too small, so why not?

I bought this game (Pilotwings) a couple of weeks ago too. It does not seem
popular so it cost just 20pounds (cf 50pounds for B-K). I must say that it
is one of the most fun games I have played and I feel bad that I kept
putting off buying it.
If you haven't played it, stop waiting for the next AAA title and go buy it.
It's worth full price.
As for tips, apart from basics like using the analog stick properly and not
oversteering, you need to be more specific when you ask (which level?)
I've enjoyed the missions, determined to get a perfect, so much that I
haven't had time to look at the sights yet, even though I am looking forward
to it.

Why is everyone thinking that to access these new things in BK, BT will like
program something into the N64's RAM and stuff.......IGN reported on this and said
most likely there will be codes to put in.

I am also interested in Waialae Country Club Golf, but I would be more
likely to get the Japanese version (Augusta Masters 98) because it
features different courses that couldn't be used in the US version for
liscensing reasons. Plus it is almost entirely in english which is
always a good thing for an import.

buy (Waialae Country Club Golf, GT 64, NFL QB Club '99, Madden '99,

Hey guys, seems we got some good Banjo players on this list and I'm, quite
frankly, stumped on a few jiggies. So I'd appreciate it if anyone could give
me a few hints on the location of these unknown ones.
1. Where's the witch switch in Mad Monster Mansion?
2. What is the jiggy that's to be found in Click Clock Wood during the winter
[banjo-kazooie.com clearly states there's one in winter, but I can't recall
collecting that one]?
3. Rusty Bucket bay...where the heck is that pink one and how do I get to the
orange one?
This all I need to complete the game, and while I'm not one for spoilers, I'd
still like at the very least some hints. Thanks!

I can help
2. You get one for feeding the bird Eyrie.
3.You enter Rust Bucket Bay and go to the right until their is a large
grate with a beehive and 4 notes.
Jump off and their will be a hole in the wall that you can swin in to get
the pink Jinjo
Get on the ship and climb the TNT box/rope up onto the crane and go down
the crane. Shoot however many eggs you need into the hole and a bridge will
slide out of the wall. Cross it and get the Orange Jinjo
