Do you think there is a difference like if gamers will buy a game by the
date it is released on. I think it is smart to release them on the day
starting a holiday but in retrospect, I probably would buy the game
anyways even if it was the day before a final exam.

I also agree, not just because of the tree part but I dont want to pay
an extra wad of bills for the packaging which I will probably never even
look at.

I prefer jewel cases, although I do not think those cardboard sleeves
would bother me. Just don't use those dang book sized cases. Those suck!
How many of you got the PSX when it first came out? Sony did not have any
jewel cases to use at the launch...some sort of mishap....anyway, they had
to buy those large cases from Sega to use. So the first few months of PSX
games were in those large cases, then they suddenly switched over to the
regular sized cases. I then had to buy some normal jewel cases for my
older games. I just hate those big cases!

Subject: [N64] Rampage World Tour
I just rented Rampage World Tour (N64) on the assumption that it would be just
like the original Rampage but with better graphics. What a disappointment
Rampage World Tour turned out to be. Unlike in the original Rampage, in
Rampage WT you can't punch down and diagonally while climbing down a building.
In RWT there is too much of a delay in the jumping. Also in RWT you can't
punch a buliding that is behind a building if you're on the building in the
front. I'm sure glad I didn't buy it. I wonder if the PlayStation version is
as bad too.

i picked up the controller and started playing....THIS GAME IS ARCADE
PERFECT. Didnt get a chance to rent it, they had like 10 copies, and
were of course all bye-bye. I did not have high expectations for this
game at all, and it REALLY IMPRESSED ME...Anyoe else have any thoughts

It's not that it looks different, it's that most people think that the tip is

You know, for all of you who bash certain games, I sure hope you actually PLAY
the game before you make judgements, and not just run around with your mouth
open based on what you read on IGN64.com or where ever else. Not everyone is
going to like certain games, but play them at least and be ready to back up
your statements.

The game does not blow. If you actually played the game then maybe you
could make that statement. Dont always go by what other people say.

Subject: [N64] Multiplayer games again by WINSTON
Well, I haven't wrote much, excluding the PC incident but I just recently
went to my cousins house for a Father's Day Party. Before that, he let me
borrow Starfox 64 so I could help him get all the secrets. So I played
him multiplayer starfox and I must say that being an animal really sucks.
Its pretty good against the arwing but the arwing can really kick some
ass. It can get all the power ups before the animals can get half way
through to it, and they have bad aim. It's impossible to hit the arwing,
unless it is hovering near you. And worse part is, the bomb can really
kick the animal's ass, even if the explosion isn't so near by. The tank
can kick its ass too with its big lasers. I'll never use the animal
again.
So then I played GE007 multiplayer with him. It was Ok, I kicked his ass
as usual with my superior timing with the grenades, grenade launchers,
and rocket launchers. But then, his 8 year old sister came and asked if
she could play (she knows how to play a bit). Thats when the real
excitement went on. No longer can I look at one persons screen because
there are two of them. It was really cool, never played three player
before. I wonder what 4 player is like. I kicked all of their asses as
usual with my RC -P90 gun. I hardly ever died. It was cool with the 2 vs
1 mode too. I still kicked their asses. Damn, isn't anybody good. Well my
point is, I now realize that the real fun comes when more than 2 people
play. It isn't as boring, and quite tight. I'd wish I had 4 players too.
Anybody like to share their experiance when they had three and up players
for GE007?

I haven't been playing much N64 lately but I probably will since friends
will be coming to my house ever other day since it is summer. The only
game I am looking forward to is Zelda 64. Nothing else. The only other
possibility is Perfect Dark, but probably will come out in 1999. Then
there is Turok 2. I am looking forward to that, and because of its cool
multiplayer function now. I guess thats it. I'm not looking forward to
Banjo-kazooie though. I got a video, a few weeks back, showing highlights
of BK(aka banjo yada yada yada). It look kind of crappy to me. Graphics
are cool but not hooking me the way Mario 64 did to me. I want something
like Mario 64 and Zelda. I know it is made from rare, a cool company, but
the game looks kind of (please don't bomb me with mail or anything of the
sort) CUTE. I know that it isn't the point of if it's cute or not but I
don't want a game like Diddy Kong Racing. Maybe i might rent the game to
see how it is like but not really buy it. If it is really cool, I'll buy
it but other than that, I'll just beat it in 2-3 days like what I do with
all the other games I rent (except for Blast Corps. I couldn't beat those
last few levels. its been so long that I forgot the levels. i know it
involves that backlash though). Quest 64 looks nice but I don't really
like pure RPG.

I would go with BK, definitely. I try to buy all of the great games, and I
won't be getting Mission: Impossible. It just deosn't look that good... and
without multiplayer, there's no replay value. I suggest waiting for Perfect
Dark.

him multiplayer starfox and I must say that being an animal really sucks.
Anybody like to share their experiance when they had three and up players
for GE007? >>
I know what you mean. This Christmas i went to my grandparents house w/ my
N64 and Goldeneye to play on there BIG SCREEN TV!(Goldeneye rocks on that
medium) Well anyways. My cousins came over with 2 controllers, I had two
controllers. So we plugged all four in and had a tournament. It was great,
my cousin beat me in The "Championship" Game with a shot from 100 feet away
with the PP7(I mean it). It just rules with 4 people!!! I hope RARE puts the
same time and focus into Perfect Dark as they did with GE007 and then it will
just blow every other FPS game to shame!

Anyone played this game yet? I'd like to know if it's any good.
Blockbuster Video already has it for rent.

Well, Id say someone is good but you may try to play someone else for a
challenge other than an 8 year old girl.

Please specify what you mean by the controls. If you mean how to move,
just use the instruction book or guess and check.

Well, when I rented the games I didn't get instructions. I mean, for
example, for NBA Courtside, list what every button does on Offense and
Defense. And like with Quest, what do the c buttons do, and what about
A,B,Z,R, etc.
