If Nintendo timed it right, I don't think they would lose money. I don't think
it would discourage people from buying an N64 because to play it, you would
need a 3dfx card, and those cost more than a N64 (for a good one). Plus, I for
one HATE playing video games on computers (I can never get into emulators).
And it wouldn't have to do anything about it being on a CD. As far as I can
tell, Nintendo has nothing against CDs, they just prefer using cartridges for
their consoles.
