Hate responding to my own message, but I think I may have gotten the hang
of it. I was holding my trick moves too long & not allowing my character to
straighten up in time for the landing. Anyway, a bit more practice & I
should have it down.

Hmm... you must have misunderstood that editorial. I just checked and the
editorial stated "that you can burn down a house in you game and continue on
with your quest. At a later time you can return to find the house still burned
down." Another analogy that was used was "You can plant some seeds near a
cliff, go on with your traveling, and at a certain time later, return to the
place you planted the seeds and a tree will be grown there for you to climb to
a previously unreachable place." Never in this editorial does it say that one
game will effect the other games. I suggest you read that one again bud.

Well, I like MS office cause it's superior to other similar packages but,
Bill Gates is sticking his nose in almost everything related to computing
world, OS, Software, Networks, Internet , and now Games.
That would be great if they tried to make their won product with out copying
others ideas, seducing programmers from other companies, forcing others to
sell their products, enforcing their own standards and using DIRTY
actions against competitives.
OK , I'll give up if their products are superior to others, but that's
not true. As far as I'm concerned , only MS office.
Do you think that they will play fair with KONAMI or ACCLAIM ?!
I doubt !

The new Hitachi SH-4 can produce 1.5 million polygons per second, all with their 64-bit treats (like anti-aliasing and mip-mapping) turned on. Better yet, Katana will not be limited to the size of carts. Katana will definitely by CD based and is said to use 1 gig special CD's.

The idea of playing perfect ports of Virtua Fighter 3, Daytona 2 (already confirmed even though it hasn't been released yet), and Sega's other mega arcade titles is enough to get me hooked.

There is no way that people are still going to be interested in the N64 when the PSX2 and Katana are in full swing. Despite Nintendo's brilliance, developers will choose the newer more powerful systems in a heartbeat.

Yeah, it seems that most of the IGN sites have been down recently. I hope it's
like a massive re-vamp of all the sites, cuz I'd hate to see them all closed
down for good (which probably won't happen, I know).

At the crack of dawn, I was at my local Blockbuster Video and
rented Mystical Ninja 64 (first one to rent it in all of Regina). I
must say that this game rocks! I mean, the opening sequence reminds me
of so many of the Japanese Anime that I have seen and it just rocks.
The movie sequences are neat, the gameplay is great, and it's the N64's
first REAL step towards and RPG. It's just an overall awesome game!
What does everyone else think of it?
