Really, Javaris, do you know how to quote stuff??? Just highlight the text and
click reply!! Me and Trey are on AOL and know how to do it. And learn to
capitalize and add punctuation!! But...most of your posts have been pointless

From: "Tyler V. Snow" <tvsnow@usa.net>
Subject: [N64] Zelda 64 delayed... (not April Fools)
Banjo and Zelda Delayed in Japan
The Japanese release dates of two major N64 games have been pushed back --
United States unaffected
Don't worry, Link will still make his N64 debut in the west on schedule
Nintendo Co. Ltd (Nintendo Japan) today announced on its website that
Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time has been delayed to fall '98 in Japan.
Since there is no April Fool's Day custom in Japan, this piece of news is
unfortunately true.
In a short note on the Japanese site, NCL says it regrets the delay but it
wants to take the time necessary to give N64 owners the best possible game.
Nintendo of America told IGN64.com today that the delay will not affect the
release of the game in the US later this year. According to a Nintendo
spokesperson, Zelda is still scheduled for release in the second half of '98.
NCL originally scheduled the game to come out "sometime in April," but
IGN64.com was told earlier this year that a June release was more likely
(hence the June '98 date in our Japanese release schedule).
Surprisingly, the Japanese release of Banjo-Kazooie has also been pushed
back to fall '98. Since the game is basically done, the move is indicative
of Nintendo's attempt to first build up the userbase of the console with
RPGs and virtual pets before tossing out more platformers.
NOA says that Banjo Kazooie, Rare's fun platformer in the style of Mario
64, will still come out in June in the United States.

Subject: [N64] Luigi Ghost in Mario64
Now guys, don't blow up about this. I KNOW there is NO Luigi in Mario
64, but I found a code at the N64 Code Center (http://www.n64cc.com)
that tells how to see his ghost. The N64 CC is VERY reliable and they
ALWAYS test the codes they recieve to see if they work. So here is the
code to find Luigi's ghost in Mario 64, tell the list if it works!!

Luigi Ghost
By: Joe Don
Please, don't even think there's a real Luigi in Mario 64, because
there's not. But what I found might
surprise you. After you have 120 stars and have met with Yoshi, try to
get to the very top of the
castle (can be done). If you turn your head almost directly at the sun,
you can see a weird flare start
to happen. Then press A and B at the same time. You should see a ghost
of Luigi appear in the sun,
as clear as can be!

Subject: [N64] 1080 & List traffic - Whats the dealio?!
Comrades,
I have only received about 5 mail messages from the list
since about 6:00pm eastern time yesterday, is that about
right? I usually have at least 20. I thought that the list
would be booming with everyones thoughts regarding 1080
which hit most area stores yesterday. Or could it be that
your all too busy playing it?
Anyway my own personal opinion about it is that it's pretty
good but kinda easy, at least the aspects of it that I have
experienced so far.
Shortcomings:
- - I wish that you could race against more than one person at
a time. Nothing was better than having those 3 other jet skiers
on your @ss in a tight race in Wave Race.
- - The ability to power up at the start of a race, ie Wave Race.
- - The announcer doesn't talk as much in this game, I actually
enjoyed the announcement in Wave Race. "Your in First!"
Those are just a couple of the shortcomings that I noticed the
short while that I played the game.

Or how about when the announcer in Wave Race 64 would say, "You're in Second"
when you're actually in first place? I glad 1080 doesn't have the annoying
announcer like in Wave Race 64.
