  35. Perhaps, but I've never seen any software that didn;t crash from ANY company
  36. on ANY platform.  MS just get's more flak for being #1 and the way they go
  37. their.  But then again, their history has never been the point.  Your
  38. comparing PC OS's to a console...apples and oranges.  To even attempt to
  39. compare the two is absolutely worthless.  Fact.

  43. Never stated otherwise.  MS should have done better...but since they didn't
  44. have final hardware ready since the Nvidia GPU wasn't ready, I can overlook
  45. a few choppy framerates at E3....the final hardware and games are all that
  46. really matters.  Fact.

  57. Did I ever say they were better?  Nope.  You apparently have the same
  58. literacy problem Dex suffers from.  I just said they LOOKED better to
  59. me...as in, right now, they interest me more.  Also, they are the types of
  60. games I'm more interested in.  Again, no matter how great games like SSB:M
  61. or Pikmin turn out, I'll never buy them...they do not interest me.  Then
  62. with Ravenblade being cancelled and Metroid looking more doubtful all the
  63. time with Retro's continuing problems, there go two more games I was
  64. interested in.  The simple fact is, the XBOX has more games in the genres I
  65. like the most.  If they get negative reviews the week before launch, I'll
  66. just buy a GC.  Right now, you can no more say any GC game will be good than
  67. I can any XBOX game.  We can only go on what APPEALS to you the most right
  68. now.  I have very clearly stated all this before.

  78. currently own a GBA, N64, PS2 , DC, and PC....and play games on all of them.
  79. All I have stated is that I have SWITCHED my XBOX/GC purchase order...I have
  80. NEVER stated I wasn't buying a GC.  Try again.

  191. Well, I'm about to go so I couldn't actually find the time to read all
  192. that e-mail (i got 44 in my box).  Granted we won't get this resolved no
  193. matter how long we hit each other, I'm calling the discussion here.  At
  194. least my part of it.

  196. As for Stryder's open minded gaming habits,  it's really not that
  197. impressive.  I have a PC, GBA, N64, PS, DC and PS2 by Christmas.  And I'm
  198. on a Student who is constantly broke and live off of my meager part-time
  199. earnings and charitable contributions from my parents.   And unlike some
  200. people who list PC as a console when all they use it for is e-mail and
  201. surfing the web, I actually do play my PC extensively.   Yes, I like
  202. Nintendo.  I have a special bias for Nintendo.   That's why I'm on this
  203. list.  But ignorant I am not.
  204.  
  205. I just find Stryder's nuking of my rebuttals to his arguments on the
  206. basis that I'm so biased towards Nintendo I can't be right, to be a
  207. totally laughable injustice to the mailing list.  Instead of intelligent
  208. discussions, you have people writing their rebuttals without even
  209. reading, or only briefly glossing over the content of what the other
  210. posters write.
