Oh, so you would just be happy if they covered 2 year old games inside more
often. Sure, they are going to do that.

I don't know....I know the first sold a horde of copies. I don't know any
sales figures though. Maybe you can produce some. But it also has the
'sex' factor going for it.

You can't put every game on the cover of a magazine...so you put the most
popluar ones, and I would bet that RE sells a lot more than most. Also, I
don't see it very many covers this month....but it does get good coverage
inside most magazines...but then again CV was just released, it is a great
game, it will sell a ton of copies and it should get good coverage. It is
not getting coverage at the expense of other games. Covers are made to sell
the magazine...whatever they think will sell they put on the cover. Other
good games will get coverage inside. 2 year old SC aint going to sell on the
cover or inside....get over it.

Yeah, but is has taken it a while to do it. Face it dex, people may still
be playing it, but it is not newsworthy enough to get coverage in magazines.
Goldeneye for the N64 sold well for a real long time...did you expect it to
keep getting covers and coverage months after it was released too???

But to take NG's side for a moment you have to admit that if Nintendo
didn't make the mistakes that it made with N64 than NG would probably be
more favorable to it. Playstation caters to gamers, Nintendo does too but
Nintendo does what it wants to do(something that I admire but sometimes
gets negative results). If Nintendo had more RPG's,cheaper games, and more
games than I think NG would be less biased AGAINST Nintendo.

Actually I was talking about successful games not getting enough coverage when
they launched, and immediately after they launched when their success was clear
to everyone and magazines have all the reason to rectify the oversight by doing
more coverage. Golden Eye 007 and Star Craft are good examples. Although
GoldenEye did do the rounds of many mags with strategy guides and such so I
don't think the game was screwed by the gaming mags after its success was
apparent.
This is getting tiring. I'm going to let this rest.

The thing is I live in the N64 games backwater of the world (mainly the UK),

come out until late July.
Oh, I think Pokemon Stadium is out next week, is that worth getting?

Ten you can take Next Gen out of that category. Most of their covers are
usually about something going on sometime down the road. The only exception I
can see was the Ready to Rumble Dreamcast cover for September 1999.

Ridge Racer 64 was pretty good. If you like Ridge Racer.
Dave
The SEGA Dreamcast will indeed cure your acne. It will make you popular with
the opposite sex, bring you material rewards beyond your wildest dreams and,
most likely, cause passersby to pull out their wallets and hand you $5. The
Dreamcast will mow the lawn for you, provide heat in the winter, cool fresh
breezes in the summer and can be used, in case of emergency, as a flotation
device. Also, the Dreamcast gives off a lemony-fresh scent and will one day
unite all humanity under the gleaming banner of peace. You need not ever fear
stubbing your toe again with the SEGA Dreamcast. -- Daily Radar

I've beaten JFG. If you've just killed Mizar for the first time, then you
are about half-way through the game. Once you collect all the spaceship
parts and rescue all the tribals, there is a one short level and then the
final battle with Mizar. Personally I find the game to be too easy, shallow
and basically unforfilling. The only challenging parts are the boss battles
and the floyd missions.

I bought Body Harvest on-line for $8 AUD a couple of months ago. This is one
of the N64's most challenging and endearing titles. It's limited market

I am interested in also joining the other list that was mentioned (I think)
by Chris Avery. Does anyone know if it too has a digest version?

I still think Starcraft is the best game ever invented... EVER. I've
been playing it for three years and have played it pretty much every
day. Its ok if they stop talking about the N64 but they don't have to
bash it.

My god, the 'sex' factor. If you (thats a general term not necessarily
you) are pathetic enough to buy a VIDEOGAME because a group of polygons
look like some fantasy girl then you need to get out more often and get
a real woman.
