Thanks for inquiring about The Goalie's Edge Instructional Manual. Let me
begin by telling you about the authors, myself and Tom MacDonald, and about
The Goalie's Edge.
I played Goalie for 20 years.
I was drafted by the Edmonton Oilers in 1985.
I played at the college level at R.P.I. and UMass/Boston
I attended the Edmonton Oilers NHL Training Camp in 1989
I played in the E.C.H.L. in Erie, PA and Richmond, VA
I have been a goalie instructor for N.E.C.D.L. (New England College
Developmental Leaugue) for the past 10 years.
I co-founded The Goalie's Edge in 1993 along with Tom MacDonald.
Tom MacDonald:
Played 4 years of Varsity hockey at Rockland High School where he was a 3
time South Shore league All-Star.
Played 1 year at Wilbraham & Monson Academy
Played at the college level at Salem State College and UMass/Boston
While at Umass was awarded ECAC player of the week and ECAC player of the month.
Tom has been head instructor at numerous camps.
Tom has been a goalie instructor for the N.E.C.D.L. for the past 3 years.
Tom is currently the goalie instructor for The Rhode Island Sharks Junior Team.
Tom co-founded The Goalie's Edge.
