Return to Paradise is one of the few movies I can recommend without
reservation this summer. It has real, human characters facing
a moral dilemma that would confound anyone, and the film never
takes the expected route. Vince Vaughn and Anne Heche are fabulous
-- they're both interesting and intelligent actors. Joaquin Phoenix
is also excellent, in a smaller but challenging role.
My full review will be up by Monday afternoon at http://www.flickfilosopher.com/flickfilos.

[Romero, Leticia] If all you want is to see Ralph and Uma, stare at

JET LI ROCKS!! This is the first time he has ever played a bad guy, and boy
was he bad!! I was introduced to his work about a year ago, and I have put
him on the shelf ABOVE Jackie Chan! (Even though the camera work
overemphisizes his energy just a bit). I was slightly disappointed with
LW4's editing of the final fight seen -- it was a bit confusing as to who
was hitting who. But all and all, it was a great performance. When is the
western world going to discover Tony Leung?!!!
