Hey, don't I get any props (juice, nods, whatever the kids are saying now
adays) for when I hosted the mobility ftp for those many years? I get no
respect I tells ya. Anyway, I write this note as I will again be moving
come this May. Not only that but I will be purchasing a new computer;
provided that I can get ahold of some decent ftp server software I may
again offer everything from the original FTP, which, along with Moby's
easily found items, represents over 95% of his catalogue as documented in
Bart's discography. Cross your fingers boys and girls.

Not for a public Moby ftp... I even consider my ftp to have gotten a bit too
popular. Where are the times of Dr. Killpatient (the old-timers know what
I'm talking about ;)

I suggest http://www.bpftpserver.com/index.html this used to be G6 FTP
server, but they changed their name. It's the same program though... I also
use an older version of G6 myself, no complaints. The download is only 1.42
MB, and the price is $29.95 (hmm, G6 always used to be 19.95...) Or, if you
like, there are lots of cracks/serials for this program around ;)
G6 has a really friendly interface and is simple, yet powerful. The older
version (still named G6) is still available at Download.com if I'm not
mistaken. One thing, you must have a Micro$oft server with Win9x, NT, or 2K

Of course you do! Your FTP is a great site and I downloaded a lot of music
from it:) I'm looking forward to you putting your site up again on your new
computer.
Thanks!!

Subject: (mobility) Mad props
Yeah I remember when the FTP had a TON of stuff on there it was
great! That was when the FTP was in it's heyday (wasn't it like a gig of
stuff??) so mad props to you too! :) It was great because even though
Napster was thriving your FTP had all the tracks I couldn't get
elsewhere. I tried to contribute myself when I could (Moby live on KCRW)
but it's hard to contribute when you guys had almost everything the man
made... that's a good thing!
Thanks to all who have contributed I am seriously touched by what tracks
fans are willing to share with one another (instead of keeping it all to
themselves)...
