Wow, so that's what it looks like. I think it's
fantastic that the photo's taken in the desert. I
always go there to pretend I'm on the moon:

I guess I can see how it looks Aphex Twin-esque,
mostly because I've never seen Moby smile like that
before. He just looks so happy, like a little boy
giggling.

i agree with you in that most tribute albums are crummy.

Well, Eric, you're WRONG! And you're going down!
Kidding - I liked the Animal Rights cover. It was
tender and intimate (like the contents).
But are you saying that a wee-little baby Moby is
never as cool as a grown up Moby? Maybe he was
composing ground-breaking baby music in his head even
back then; just couldn't record it. You never know!

finally got a listen to it thanks to that
anonymous link poster. interesting. i like the
return to more rock oriented material, though i'm
getting bored with the standard moby beat and
synth work. i was hoping for more, i guess.
something that would rock my socks. i will wait
until the full album to pass judgment, of course,

They only picked Grandaddy up from the ashes of subsidiary company Big Cat
when that was closed. Hardly an A&R breakthrough since someone else had had
the foresight, and they just got the band on a plate.
