oi there mobilites,
i was watching a bit of the news tonight in passing, and they were doing a
bit on middle-eastern war type stuff, and the background music was "now i
let it go". i was kinda like "eh?". i guess elektra's figguring if v2 can
liscence the hell outta moby, they may as well dust off the old rights
paperwork and start cashing in too. can't say i blame them really, but it
could be a whole new round of moby liscencing.
figgured it was interesting enough to blab to the list about.
oh, and all you ocllectors out there, i've got lists up now of stuff i've
got spares of, and stuff i'm generally looking for...

hey mark, hows tings
It is more likely that the people who put the documentary together would
have chosen the music independently. more than likely directed or edited by
a Moby fan!
it seems that, on UK tv at least, every piece to do with the towers, or any
other disaster is accompanied by some Moby music just now. the meloncholy
tone of much of his stuff just fits with the mood of the times really.

hehe... for some reason i had a dream that involved
our old pal Ryu in it... so i looked at his website
(soulpsychadelicide.com) and he'd updated it many
times since i last visited/heard from him... he even
has a thank you page, and i'm the 3rd person listed :)
but anyway, you guys are also listed on that page (the
original members of mobility, anyway) and he also
lists on his discography page the old Thanks comp, and
lists the entire tracklisting for it... altho he says
"back when moby deserved any type of tribute" cause
well, he basically hates moby now... but anyway, if
anyone wants to check that out, its there. and he has
several of his albums in their entirety uploaded
(including his cover of "unloved symphony, but not
"before after then" or "opposites are one" for some
reason...)
