And yeah, you do have to move. :-) I've been an Afghan Whigs fan for years, and because when they played they would play small venues with 18+, or they would play far away, I could never go and see them. I live in Lincoln, NE 10 Hours away from Chicago by car (and no other "major city" like Denver or KS usually gets any of his venues.) The closest he has ever come was to Omaha about 2 years ago (1 hour away) on the MTV campus invasion tour. But low and behold, no tickets available through MTV or ticketmaster. I called the college (Creighton U.) they said it was free, but FOR STUDENTS ONLY. How fucking shitty is that I ask you? Where is the justice in this world when ignorant fucks who don't even know who he is and can't even begin to appreciate who they are seeing at some festival that they only went to to get high or drunk at?!?! This is why there can be no God people. As for moving out of the country, trust me, go to Malaysia. Actually work in Malaysia through a US company, that way that have to pay you a regular US salary in US dollars, but you get to spend it in dirt cheap Malaysia. Trust me, everything is 1/4 the cost or less. I could live like a king. Not only that, but you'd think such a place is a shit hole third world country, but its not, at least the good places like Kuala Lumpur, and even the shit holes have a unique flavor that is preferable to the cleanest corner in my town. If you wanna start a fund start a fund to get me back to Malaysia, or Japan, but that would require a hell of a lot more money. Better yet, just get on the line to Moby himself and tell him to play a venue here. He'd only have a few fans but he'd be very appreciated by them.
