if moby refuses to collab with new order or pulp, why
the hell would he work with some trance guy?
i've never heard him before, so i cant judge him, but
if moby can work with this guy, he can work with new
order.

This sounds like an awesome party and I give people a little more credit and
Imagine that given the theme there will be a concious effort to take care of,
clean, and respect the venue. This could be a very informative event and
given our president seems to be so "earth-friendly" I think we could use all
the "earth-friendly" help we can get.

This is happening either way, An event like this can only do good as far as
making people more aware of ways to curve or protest these activities.

If you were at a 3-4 day party woulnd't you spend a small part of your day
checking out the available info and kind of see what the party is about. I
think that more people than you think might make an effort to at least check
it out. Whether they change or not is a different subject but at least
they've been exposed to such material.
As for the amount of destruction I guess it depends on the size and attitude
of the crowd. It is in a sense a celebration of the Amazon so I would
Imagine that there would be a certain level of respect for the venue, but
than again it's true, a large enough crowd could be harmful to the venue.
I don't know, If enough people were willing to clean the remains and at least
after themselves it could work out in our favor. The original woodstock site
was left spotless . . .

Ian

You're a little off the base here... the original Woodstock
site was declared a federal emergency site by the end of the
festival because the 300,000 festival goers were knee deep
in mud, caused by torrential rains, that contained a good
amount of refuse, camping gear, human and animal waste.
Traffic to and from the fest prevented emergency workers
from getting to the site by any means except helicopter,
which delayed treatment for many people who were having
medical problems due to drugs and dysentery. When the
festival goers finally all left on Monday, the site looked
like a wasteland, covered in filth, garbage, and abandoned
camping gear, clothing, vehicles, etc., that had succombed
to the extreme conditions on the festival grounds.
Photographic evidence of this is apparent in the landmark
1970 film "Woodstock", as well as any number of photo essays
that were taken by the local media during the fest.
