Party Time remixes? I hope you don't mean the party time remixes I listed in
my
"Immaginary releases" e-mails... Because unfortunately there's no such thing
as a
Todd Terry remix and a Voodoo Child remix of this song :(
>Also,
>Everytime You Touch Me
>(Quartermass remix)
>(Tabernacle remix)
>(Dementia remix)
>(Totalis remix)
I'll see what I can do, I'll also try to upload some remixes by Moby that
are not in
the database file.

Yeah, that would be great! I've got a Moby desktop theme already, but I =
can only expect yours will be better, cuz fans always seem to do better =
stuff than others. About the best Moby track, really tough decision, but =
Go always gets me on the run.
P.S: What do you folks think about Jean Michel Jarre? I think he and =
Moby do have some common points in their music, and I've heard many =
Jarrefans saying they love Moby's music. SO, share your opinions!

"When I was fifteen years old, the only distinction in music my friends and I made was [that] there's music made by people with short hair and music made by people with long hair." -- MOBY
Haha, (sigh) that Moby, so funny in his own honest way. Well this is from Rolling Stone's email newsletter:
MOBY UNVEILS AREA:ONE FESTIVAL
MOBY announced the addition of NELLY FURTADO, the ORB and RINOCEROSE to his Area:One summer festival tour at a press conference in New York City yesterday. The festival will have two stages, the Area Stage and the
Focus Area stage. Previously announced acts the ROOTS, OUTKAST, PAUL OAKENFOLD, INCUBUS, CARL COX and the INNOVATORS will be onboard for the majority of the sixteen dates, which begin on July 11th in Atlanta. NEW
ORDER will also be in tow on select dates. "There is an overabundance of testosterone-driven rock at these festivals," Moby told Rolling Stone, "and I wanted to do something that's interesting and aesthetically
challenging, in addition to being eclectic."
http://www.areafestival.com/
You can see where they're playing & who is on the line up which is very nice. But where the hell is Devore, CA??? Off to MapQuest... Good thing Nelly Furtado won't be at the CA date, tho - she's so nasal!
Anyone else going to Coachella? I'm so excited, but still looking for a pup-sitter... How does one get mentally, physically & spiritually prepared for their first Orb experience? Not to mention Iggy...wow...
And Barbra Streisand is 59 today. That kinda grosses me out for resons I am unable to name.

Well, there's one week of my vacation planned this summer :) I'll take the
week off so I can hit the Toronto and Detroit shows. Always love an excuse
to return to Toronto.

Well I just had the honor of seeing the Orb here in Detroit this past
Saturday at a small club downtown. I'm certainly glad my first Orb show was
in a small, sweaty, hot as hell, smoky club and not an outdoor amphitheater
as on Area One. Still glad I'll get to see them again though.

Subject: (mobility) FTP MP3 Upload by request
Hello all,
I would like to request the following:
** Moby - Hymn (Phonicoids Behind the Eyes Mix)
I have the RealkAudio Video clip for this song, but would like
to obtain a high quality audio version of this mix.
** Moby - hymn.not.quiet.version
I would like to re-request this song, lots of us would like
to hear this version/remix.
** Moby - Ah Ah (Phonicoid Remix)
** Moby - Lifting Pianos (unrealeased)
** Moby - Into the Blue (Buzz Boys Main Room Mayhem Mix)
** Moby - Into the Blue (Voodoo Child Remix)
I have the version from the "Everything is Wrong DJ Mix Album"
but would like to obtain the full version. I think the full
version was up on a FTP before but it was a version that was
cut off in the end (maybe I am wrong?)
Finally some Live Songs:
** Slow version of "Everytime You Touch Me" played in a Dallas Texas
concert with (Diane Charlamaigne on vocals (?) )
** Fast version of Everything is Wrong
Thanks!

Okay, from your list of requests I only had these two. Sorry, but perhaps
this will motivate others to UPLOAD!!!
Anyway, they are the FULL Versions. The times correspond to the times
reported in the big ass discography, so no, they are not cut off.
Oh, they are in the requests subdirectory int he moby directory.
That address again, for those with short MTVized attention spans is:
ftp://129.93.212.198
Oh, and just a side note, this was forwarded to me by a friend of mine:
"Most people I know who listen to a lot of MP3s will
download a lot of different songs. And if they like
the song, they'll go out and buy the album. The record
company doesn't want me to say this, but out of the
millions of MP3 files that are out there, if someone
chooses to download one of my songs or an album of
mine, I'm very flattered."

Well, for the poor Moby-heads out there who won't be here for Area:One or for some (valid - haha) reason can't get their bums out there, I'm pretty sure Dr.Killpatient will audio-record some of the rarer performances (New Order! I'm gonna finally see New Order!!!). If he does that in Coachella this weekend, I'll let you people know.
