Ok, suppose this is a legid CDR master or promo... Why the hell did they
take the effort
to make nice front artwork?  I know Eil is a trusty (and f#$%ing expensive)
online record store,
but having seen so many well faked Moby bootlegs since the success of Play,
honesty, I don't
know what to think of this...  Also, I wish I had way too much money, then I
could spoil it all
on those bastards at Eil :)

But if it turned out to be the real thing, I wouldn't mind getting some mp3z
too...

hey all, this is the girl whose posts kept coming out in crazy letters. I was
just introducing myself. I'm Adrienne, 19, a sophomore at Boston University.
I've been a huge fan of Moby since about 1997, when I first heard "Everything
is Wrong." I missed that tour, but have seen him three times on the Play
tour, which was just incredible.

I have heard about Area:One, and I know that Moby will be announcing dates
and venues at a press conference on April 23.  I heard New Order will be
playing West Coast dates, and Outkast will be on the East Coast. I say,
forget Outkast (even though I love them and they give an amazing stage show)
and give us New Order.

Wow, it seems that this outtakes CD is genuine! I've heard people mention
the track
"Bedhead" as being in the credits of the movie "Play It To The Bone". It
would be really

contributions in the Play era. However, I'm familiar enough
with the way Moby titles his home demos (having seen the
original labels for more than one cassette he's made for
friends or fans over the years) to think these could be
genuine. Possibly. If it is a genuine cd, my guess is it's a
master disc Moby submitted to either Mute or V2 for them to
pull bside tracks from for singles. That doesn't explain the
appearance of songs from the Revolver cd single (unless it
was a disk submitted to V2). But it could just as likely be
a fake.

I can assure you, "Bedhead" is by Moby. Until a few weeks ago I'd also
never heard of this song. I got an e-mail from someone who saw
Moby being credited for this song in the movie Play It To The Bone,
and now this same track is on some weird outtakes cd.. It must be real.
