  172.     Alright, I just wanted to say to everyone that this is a verrrry touchy
  173. subject with me since I am a huuuuuuuuge movie fanatic and I have a list of
  174. my favorite movies that I cannot live without telling to the world. 
  175. (Especially the Mobility list, they're groovy kats)  Alright, I am going to
  176. start off with Fight Club, that would be the greatest film I have seen up
  177. till now.  It is my personal favorite, and something that I can base alot of
  178. my beliefs about religion and the general view of reality.  There are a
  179. bunch of movies that come in second and I'm not sure what to attain them to,
  180. just sayin' them out loud and with vigor.

  182. In the number two spot would be:

  184. Gladiator (the deleted scenes in the DVD are priceless)
  185. The Usual Suspects (Spacey at his best)
  186. Saving Private Ryan (Hanks's character trying to weigh a human life against
  187. the lives of 8 others)
  188. LA Confidential (award winning cast)
  189. On The Waterfront (one of the greatest ever made)
  190. Raging Bull (deniro, amazing!)
  191. Taxi Driver (wow...  a mohawked deniro!)
  192. Hackers (miller, jolie, and a kickin' soundtrack.  computer hackers!!)
  193. A Boy's Life (love the fight at the end.  also sorta mimicked my life in a
  194. way)

  335. films in particular, and yet neglect "Pulp Fiction" and/or
  336. "Reservoir Dogs" from writer/director Quentin Tarantino
  337. which were HUGE influences on several of the other films on
  338. you listed. Not a big deal, really. I just think that Pulp
  339. Fiction, in particular, is a great, gritty film that is one
  340. of my favorites......

  525. She's Come Undone and I Know This Much Is True by Wally Lamb (both very long
  526. but engaging books, quality reading.)

  528. and anything by Hunter S Thompson...but especially Fear and Loathing in Las
  529. Vegas (the easiest to read....I'm currently picking my way through "The
  530. Great Shark Hunt". Thompson makes for a slow read, but it's all the more
  531. satisfying when you're through. fascinating man.)
