They did have a "small" Coachella this last Sept (over Labor Day weekend),
just to have something near the anniversary, but it was just DJs spinning. I
guess I shouldn't say "just DJs" since it was (your "man") Emmerson, along
with Digweed & Rabbit in the Moon, etc.
Anyway, this is one of the few helpful sites I could find in the few minutes
I have right now:
http://www.inpalmsprings.com/events/coachella.shtml
But it's going to keep going, so keep checking for info & if I find anything
out, I'll be glad to post it here.

was not a Coachella, it was just at the same place (Golden Voice only gave =
word of it and did not promote. it was Insomniac that promoted it) =20
I have been waiting for news of Coachella II (I am on the Coachella =
Mailing list)....the first one was the BEST DAMN THING EVER!!!
Paul (waiting and waiting for the line up???)

quite honestly, i think it would be really cool if the
chems won. mainstream america knows who fb and moby
are, but they never heard of tom n ed. so whatever let
them win. if they actually get to go up and accept the
award, even better! maybe some kids will go out and
buy exit planet dust. or surrender even. thatd be
cool.
i still think rendezvu and red alert are 2 of the most
annoying songs ever made. BUT i have discovered some
b-jaxx tunes i actually like, on some of the cds
jamesbee sent me. anyone heard blue skies inside my
mind?............. waitasecond, i just looked up on
cddb.com and it's inside my mind (blue skies) and its
by groove armada not jaxx! he fooled me! ok, i hate
bassment jaxx again.

Actually... I think you're wrong there. I don't know of anyone who hasn't=
heard of "Block Rockin Beats" or that other really mainstream song they=
put out a while back. They're just not as TOTALLY mainstream as say=
FATBOY SLIM (yuck!)
I'm sure everyone has some hope (deep down?) that Moby will win! Most of=
us would probably just like to see it happen because we think so highly of=
him.... or am I speaking to the wrong crowd? ;-)

Underworld and Leftfield are good too. Even though Moby is
GRRRRRRRRRREAT! Underworld's song "Mmmm Skyscrapers, I love you" is my
favorite by them.

I actually agree with Matt on this one and say that Moby could use a
little more attention. I mean, both Chemical Brothers and Fatboy Slim had
their time in the spotlight and it would be cool for Moby to have a little
more light just because he is bald.

it's just like a popularity contest. moby is pretty popular right now. it's
thier fans get to go nuts and click and click the little box. i dont see
what they are fighting for. assuming they are all equally as good.. it would
still depend on how many times fans vote for them. as longs as fans love the
band, that's what really matters.
