Tonight's show at Siena College in Loudonville, or Albany, NY is easy to go
get to. It's accessible off of either I-90 or 787 and is on Route 9. Stop
and ask for specifics, but its easy!

While I'm sure the images in the play album are copyrighted, use of it's
thematic elements certainly isn't. As absurd as some American copyright
laws are, I don't think we've gotten to the point where it's possible to
copyright a red isoceles triangle.

Subject: (mobility) Honey the Kelis remix
Is awful. I heard it the first time the other night and it is dreadful.
Soulless dodgy, banal rubbish. The lyrics thanks to Kelis' generic,
unimaginative ranting are something like "the bouncer wont let ya get in the
door/dance on the dancefloor/to the beat y'all/non stop y'all/ bodyrock
y'all" (pukes). And sonically speaking it strips the soul out of the song
and replaces it with transparent shallow cheesy dance beats. Not only is it
pointless (Honey has already been released already), it is exploitive and
the new mix is the worst record I have heard from Moby sinc.. er... 1990.
Flower - the b-side is far better. It should've been the single.

Subject: (mobility) New version of Running
Just got the new double edition of Play (LCDStumm172), and I've noticed
somehing strange.
According to the cover, song no 10 should be Running, but this song is NOT
the same as the version from the Run On-single).
The "new"-version is must faster, and don't have that triphop-feeling that
the old one have (I must say that I like, and it was a nice surprise that
something "new" was included on this release).
I don't think the other songs on this album have been majorly reworked,
but minor changes could easily have passed me unnotified.
A little complain about this release: A cd can actually have over 60:35
minutes of music, so why was these tracks not allowed on the album: Arp,
Micronesia, Princess and Sick In The System.

OMG!!! OMG!!! OMG!!! That sounds like it's actually the
older "demo" version of the song called "Running Black
Woman" which has been bootlegged to death since 1997. I LOVE
that version of the track and was disappointed when "Run On"
came out that it had been so majorly changed. Sweet! I
finally get to have a cleaner sounding version of that song
on cd!!!

why are all the tags designed around play, I mean he's toured on this album
for an awful long time, by the time we get them made, a new album will be
out. Can't you just use the Moby symbol he has on shirts or something?

My name is Robby DeFrain, I'm 16 year old guy, and I'm a junior in high
school in Lincoln, Nebraska. So far, I have Everything is Wrong, Animal
Rights, I Like to Score, and Play, but I want to get more, once I get
some money. I first heard Moby from my brother, who borrowed Play from
his friend... I started listening to it, and I knew I had to get it. I
bought several more of his cd's, and I consider myself at least a
semi-big fan. I also like Chemical Brothers, Lo Fidelity All Stars,
R.E.M., the Who, the Beatles, Weezer, and others. Favorite Moby song:
First Cool Hive. Favorite Moby Album: Everything is Wrong. I consider
Moby to be extremely talented, I enjoy making music a lot myself (I play
bass) and I hope to expand my musical horizons with him in the future.
