MOBY WAS INCREDIBLE! I saw him at the Greek last
night! hybrid was realyl awesome too, way better than
i expected.. after hearing their set i thought they'd
be a tough act to follow.. Amazing. that was my first
real concert too, now i guess any other concert i go
to will seem really lame ;-)
hey matt, can i still get a copy of a concert
recording? i heard you were selling em, that'd be
really tight.

hello again!
I saw the Moby show in San Diego on Saturday. OH MY
GOD! As ususal it was sooooo fucking grrreat i don't
even know how to describe it. Everyone was just so
energetic and in to it. The music was incredible and
the female vocalist had a beautiful vioce and added
much emotion to the show. He's just has so much
intensity and emotion in his performances. After the
show I met him again for the second time and he kissed
my cheek again and signed some stuff. Moby is so
sweet and generous to his fans. Did anybody else go?
If you did, what did you all think? He's the best!

Subject: (mobility) Weekend finds
My weekend record shopping in the metro Detroit area produced a few Moby
finds along with picking up Smith and Mighty's latest CD from last year. I
wanted to buy "Bass Is Maternal" by them but the only store around that had
it wanted fucking $20.99 for it??? CDNow has it for 13.99 for Pete's sakes.
Anyways, NEVER thought I'd come across it around here but picked up the
French 12" vinyl for "Natural Blues" with the Superfunk remixes. Don't
particularly care for them but as a collector am glad to have them. TOTALLY
shocked the hell out of me to find a copy in Detroit. Also found a cool
promo CD for "Bodyrock" that I didn't have and it was only 2 bucks so what
the hell. Like the skull on the CD. :)
Uh-Oh I see some bad little kiddies doing bad little things so I better go.

Yea, thats what i meant, s'all good, count me in! I
loved the live version of Honey.. those bongo drums
(not the official term, i know) Moby busted out really
made it :) and the vocalist lady did a really nice
job on the acoustic version of Everytime you Touch Me!
i was impressed, i had never paid much attention to
that track before..
well thanks in advance, take it easy.

Subject: (mobility) moby let me cry in his arms
hello everyone,
today was one of the best days in my whole life.i stood behind him
after the interview was over... he was standing there talking to his other
fans and i was like standing behind him waiting for my turn hoping that he
would turn around and he did......and just when i was about to open my mouth
to say hi.....i ended up crying really hard...and he let me cry really hard
against his chest....and i remember feeling the cloth on his shirt start to
moisten w/ my tears....he let me cry in his arms for a really long time and
when we finally pulled away which felt like 5 minutes later or
something...my hair got caught behind his ear w/ his eyeglasses and he
picked my hair out of his ear and we both smiled and laughed a little...and
then i noticed that both his canine teeth overlapped the next tooth..and i
thought that was so cool that i was able to notice that even tho it had
nothing to do w/ his musical talent at all.......and basically all day today
i've been crying on and off. Everytime i think about him i start to cry
really hard....so right now i'm bawling my eyes out. right after that
happened and he said to me," Jodi, i have to go to a venue now." i thanked
him and walked out of the store w/ my friend really fast cuz i was
embarrased that i couldnt just talk and ask him a question or compliment him
normally like everybody else did. i'm sorry that im' rambling but i was just
really really excited and shaky that i had to let everything out. Thank you.
Jodi

Subject: (mobility) New York Tickets
Hi everyone, been on the list for a while, don't get much time to add to the
very interesting conversations on here though. :-)
I am 25 from Michigan
Now to the point -
I made plans to go to New York to see Moby on the 21st of October - I
already bought the tickets ahead of time but UNFORTUNATELY :-( will not be
able to make it, gonna have to settle for Moby at the State Theatre in
Detroit the week before.
So I have MOBY TICKETS for New York on the 21st of October, if anyone is
looking I have two.
Thank You everyone...
Don.

the show at el rey was definitely one of the best ever! almost as fantastic
as being at the new year's eve rave back in the mid 90s where moby
performed. i have not felt this alive in a while. every single person in the
crowd was into it almost as much as moby himself. :) it felt nostalgic
being there. it seemed like it would be one of the last times one would see
moby in a smaller venue and i'm glad i had the chance to do that one more
time. it was cool seeing him at the greek too, the audience was so eager and
happy.
2 cents....
aout,
mary

I think I may have already asked this question - in which case, please don't
hate me. I love Moby, so I must have some good points :)
What is the Hammerstein Ballroom like? I think the tickets I got were
"standing room only", so is it just one big dance floor or what? ARGH I can't
believe I have to wait 25 more days to see him. :)

I loved the El Rey show but I think the place was just too hot. Maybe
it was just the lights up on the front of the stage. I liked all the
guitar stuff he did.. I'd never seen him play Revolver or Run On
acoustic although I've read about it before. I also enjoyed the surf
song (was it a cover it sounded familiar?). All in all a great
performance.
Did anyone go to the Interview yesterday? It was really really a great
experience. It made Moby seem so down to earth (like we didn't know
that already) to chat with us for so long.. he stayed until everyone's
questions were answered!
