wow, Moby just performed live here in T.O. at the Much Music Video Awards. he played Porcelain with a gospel vocalists singing the sample and adding an amazing extra touch. a string trio added the final touch. wow, so beautiful!

Moby was himself, wearing old jeans and a t-shirt.

but one other thing, why does Greta even go on stage, every live performance i've seen, she doesn't play, i mean she's kewl and all, but why fake it. oh well, Moby live is still amazing! can't wait for him to come back in October!

I wanted to go, but since I couldn't get tickets in the orchestra pit I decided
not to, because anything else wouldn't be worth it, especially since the
tickets are like $30.  So I was thinking of just hanging out the venue that day
and seeing what happens, unfortunately at the moment I have no way of getting
there or back. :-)

There will for sure be scalpers and I highly doubt it's sold out, but only crap
tickets remain.  You may try to show up about 15 minutes into the act and get
last-ditch tickets. They go for cheap after the show starts.

Ok.. so I taped the MOBY special on Channel V the other night (Mark your
copy for the files will be on its way as soon as it gets copied..) and
anyway.. I was BITTERLY disappointed.. I mean.. I love MOBY to pieces,
however, I was thinking that if this was the first time I had ever seen MOBY
perform, it wouldn't have done anything for me.. the cutting was so
TERRIBLE, it made the show look short (they only played the really popular
stuff, and -for example- 'TWIRFMR' wasn't on there at all)... and it made
Moby look like a really sad little spectacle.. I still enjoyed it, but I
guess my expectations were just a little too high.. ANYWAY.. you can all see
for yourselves as soon as I get my arse into gear and send this tape away..

PS: In the video from the Sydney show he is wearing that Moby shirt with the
'Moby' symbol and the darker collar things that someone was talking about..
he actually GAVE this shirt away.. unlike the concert I went to where he
declared he liked his shirt 'too much' to part with :o)  ahhhh...

Ed The Sock @ Much Music just did a short interview with Moby, and Moby introduced his homemade hand puppet Pukey. but Pukey wasn't moving his mouth, so Moby just stuck his finger thru the bag (hehe)
Ed told Moby that his next record should be a Polka/Trance crossover.
interesting, Moby didn't down play that idea : )

anywayz, Moby didn't win for best international video, but it was really kewl to see him here in T.O.!

Hey thanks for the advice :) and one more thing, any
comments on how i can possibly meet moby? this'll be
my first concert (i cant imagine anything better) and
a chance to talk with moby would be like the best
dream ever.. only better ;-) and real! alright i'm
tired, take it easy.
