Hi,
I have just signed up to Mobility and here is my info.
My name is Gary Logie, I live in England and I am 16
years old. I have Play (my first moby record), Animal
Rights, I Like to Score, Everything is wrong and the
everything is wrong remix.
I first heard Moby after buying Play and I liked it so
much I decided to see what his other work was like so
I downloaded some from Napster. I liked it so I got
all of the above records and I am looking to get all
of Mobys records.
I like Moby mainly for his music but I also think that
he has some good points to make about the world we
live in and has some good ideas about how we can clean
up the world.
Thats all for now,
Gary

*exhale*
have you ever had a moment when the lights came up after the show was
over, and you felt as if you never needed to party again because you had
gotten your fill? i feel that way right now... i got home from moby's
seattle stint just a little while ago and i must say i'm ready to
collapse.
the day started out perfectly timed, with moby's endsession. i would say
there were about 30 or so people there and it was amazing. he asked for
requests right off the bat and i yelped out 'revolver!', which he kindly
obliged and proceeded to ask my name and dedicate it to me. so sweet!
the endsession was awesome, we basically got to sit in on his sound check
and he played requests, joked and chatted a bit. it was extremely brief
though... i would say about 30-40 minutes, i was hoping to be able to give
him his (belated) birthday gift during the "meet'n'greet", but that didn't
really happen the way i pictured it.
as for the concert itself.... WOW. that's the only way to put it. it's
been three years since i've seen Moby perform and the experience of seeing
him live was even better than i remember it. ten times better. a
thousand times better. i don't have any pictures from the show itself
becuz the "security" was being really militant about people having
cameras, one of them practically jumped in the crowd trying to grab this
guys camera...and i wasn't about to risk that with a 700 dollar camera.
so i will post pics from the endsession probably tomorrow, when i've
gotten my mind back. at the end of the show he did his usual "the drummer
is from seattle" shtick and he threw his shirt out before 'thousand'...
some girl got it, i wanted to tackle her for it. :)
afterwards, a small group of us waited out by the busses, scott came out
and talked to us for awhile, saying he would go back in and tell Moby some
people were hanging out waiting for him. a few minutes later scott
reappeared and said we could all come in to the afterparty. how nice! so
we all hiked downstairs into some odd paramount sub-basement and proceeded
to crash their party. it was soooo funny. :) my ride was waiting for me
up the street though so i had to just quickly say thanks and hi, etc and
get him to sign my copy of Spin. the meeting was nowhere near as intimate
or pressure free as when i met him a year ago. i felt as if i had to just
be herded in, get an autograph and march out. it was odd, plus i was so
out of my head already it all just kinda surreally rushed by.
i really wish i was going to portland to see him again tomorrow. have fun
those of you who do go and gawd, how could you not?!
matt! if you did indeed get a bootleg of this show, i would looove to get
a copy from you.
i'm wrecked. off to bed.

Follow-Up...
Just got home from my 1 1/2 hour journey home from Seattle... EXCELLENT=
show! Awesome soundcheck! And thanks for requesting Revolver, Sarah! I=
knew that was you :) I was the one who requested "Freebird" looks like we=
were the winners ;)
I took some pictures also, and will happily post them for those interested.=
Moby also let me take a picture with him after the show in the "party=
room"... what in sam hill do you look like Sarah??? I'm positive I must=
have seen you since I seem to have been everywhere you were!
And as for anyone, I did get a very decent recording of the show, and I=
will put it on CD. For anyone interested, I'd be willing to send you a=
copy in trade for blank cds :) E-mail me and we can work something out.
Anyone else by chance see the show? We should all gather in some chat room=
to talk about it! (har har).
Also, how selfish of the radio station to tell us not to ask for=
autographs! rude rude rude.

you're welcome, for requesting it. :)

i'm definitely interested.

well, let's see here: i just redyed my hair a really deep reddish colour
and it was sewn up into this messy pile of hair in the back and i have
shortish bangs. i was wearing a bright bright bright neon pink skirt
(kinda indian'ish in styling) that went to the floor over my jeans and a
black glittery half skirt over that with a plain black button up top with
a black stone necklace (there were 4 small flat black stones and one large
flat black stone), i also sprayed a tiny bit of glitter in my hair.
*phew* anyway, i also got a picture with moby. he looks adorable, but i
look awful in it, so i won't be posting that one. :P

yay! i definitely want one! i can send you the money for a blank cd or
something, since i would have no idea what kind to buy.
> Also, how selfish of the radio station to tell us not to ask for

yeah, i found that a bit strange... but i'm glad they were really lax
about being able to take pictures though.
alright this time i'm really off to bed. after having such a euphoric
night the only logical thing i can think of to do is to put "my weakness"
on the stereo, press 'repeat' and cry myself to sleep. :)
g'night all.
and of course a big heartfelt thanks to Moby for sharing his music with
us all...
