Nah, that's mobyonline.com not moby-online.com.  But I wouldn't be surprised if it never happened.  1st it said it would be online early July, then mid August.  I guess it's now officially mid August cause it's the 17th.  I don't care all that much though.  I really like fanpages and I wish there were more Moby ones but official ones sometimes aren't as great.  I've notices a couple Greek pages.  One is http://www.moby.gr.  It looks cool but I don't understand Greek...

One more stupid little thing:  I spent the day at an amusment park w/ a 10 year old the other day.  Very fun, I'm sick of hanging out w/ people my own age.  Anyway, they have a motion simulator ride that's about James Bond.  They used Moby's reversion of the James Bond Theme as exiting music.  Just brightened my day.

  331. I woke up early early early this morning, 3:30, 3 hrs after our power came 
  332. back on. I'm in St. Louis, and almost everyone was out for some period of 
  333. time because of the storm. Anyway, They were talking about all the "pop 
  334. sensations" like Briteny Spears and the Backstreet Boys... and Moby. They 
  335. have categorized Moby with these people, whom I'm not fond of. He said that 
  336. he doesn't care if his music is used in movies, commericals etc. just not 
  337. cigarette commercials, and I thought there was another type of commercial. Oh 
  338. well, can't remember. He had on a huge hoody (slip over hooded thing) where 
  339. is it cold enough to wear that? I wanna be there. The heat's hard being 
  340. pregnant.

  500.   Yeah, I'm going!  I saw Moby last November at the Roxy in Buckhead and he
  501. was awesome!!  The Tabernacle is a step up from the Roxy so he must be
  502. getting more popular.  The Tabernacle is general admission and I think you
  503. can
  504. buy tix both at the box office and thru TicketRobber.
  505.  
  506.   Anyways, the Tabernacle is located in downtown Atlanta, pretty much right
  507. across the street from Centennial Park.  Just take the I-75/85 connector to
  508. the Georgia Dome exit and head towards CNN Center.  It's one block away from
  509. the CNN Center and to the left of Centennial Park.  Parking isn't too bad
  510. since they have a zillion parking vendor places but you'll have to part with
  511. some cash ($5 or so).
  512.  
  513.   The Tabernacle itself is a renovated church, with the area in front of the
  514. stage standing only and there are seats in the middle and upper balcony
  515. area.  Probably holds a thousand people or so total.  Not a bad place to
  516. play, besides the downtown location.  See ya there!

  571. OK everyone it's about 2am and I've just got in from the first night of the
  572. meagre V2000 festival in Stafford.
  573.  
  574. I'm not quite sure what to say or how to say it. So we arrive on the sterile
  575. site to see Bjorn Again. Not a great start. Following this, the Barenaked
  576. Ladies bore us with a feeble Bloodhound Gang impersonation, and the funnist
  577. sight of all, is a five piece hiphop group playing to a crowd of twelve in
  578. an enormous, empty field. All that talk of gangstas and beatches and hos,
  579. and keeping it real, when there are more people in the crew than the crowd.
  580.  
  581. I go off to walk the field, go up and down the slides, the oxygen tent, the
  582. stalls, and the fun fair, as well as the gigantic football pitch, before
  583. arriving to see a massive crowd of people watching Coldply for two songs
  584. before buggering off to watch Horace Andy, who bores an empty tent with
  585. reggae in a white suit  whilst some Massive attack fans wait for a
  586. reandering of one of his many 'guest vocals' appearances. Coldplay are next,
  587. who have a massive 'floating vote'. Everybody on site sees them for about
  588. two songs before buggering off. There's a river of people flowing near them.
  589.  
  590. Onto the Dandy Warhols, who play an effiicient, if seemingly annoyed set.
  591. The sound is awful and they start at least one song twice aftre a range of
  592. feedback breaks the song in two.Next up: Cypress Hill. For a band who
  593. seemingly live of a diet of weed, dope, and cannibis they present a tight,
  594. furious set of hardcore rap metal that sounds like the future. If only their
  595. records were as intense as their gigs.
  596.  
  597. James are next,and produce a set worthy of headlining Wembley Stadium,
  598. bringing the biggest crowd to the main stage. They played a passionate,
  599. playful greatest hits set that sounded as suitably to the local Enormodrome
  600. as it would the local pub. A string quartet of foxy young chicks just made
  601. it better. New songs were dispatched with precision - old songs were
  602. gereeted as familiar friends, and I realsie James may never be a critics
  603. favourite, but they somehow find a place in the hearts of the masses. They
  604. played: Come Home, Get Laid, Sometimes, She's A Star, China Girl, Stutter,
  605. Everybody Is A Junkie, Out To Get You, Someone's Got It In For Me, Tommorow,
  606. Come Back To Mine For Coffee + Toast, Sound, Ring The Bells.

  608. Joe Strummer is excellent, whenever he plays Clash songs. When he ventures
  609. into his directionless newer stuff it just becomes, well, frankly, a bit
  610. tedious, with misplaced reggae covers and pale facsimiles of older past
  611. glories Off to see Death In Vegas, a true placebo of a band, who provide all
  612. the right ingedients but miss any meaning. The visuals are simple, looped
  613. cool-looking stuff without import, a mere compulsive beatinmg of rhythm, as
  614. involunatry as the beat of your  of the heart, without soul. Paul Weller is
  615. frankly put, a dinosaur who should be extinct. There's even a terrifying
  616. drum solo to take into account, forever stuck in 1974.

  618. Beth Orton is so bad I end up watching Leftfield. Her voice is shot to
  619. pieces, she can't hit any high notes or hold the low ones. It sounds like
  620. the Stone Roses at Reading 96 - that bad. I'm fed up of hearing songs being
  621. murdered by their own mother, I leave sadly, as classics such as Central
  622. Reservation are consigned to the dustbin of history.

  624. Leftfield. My god, that bass is enormously heavy. Even the perimeter walls
  625. are shaking for that bass. It's enormous, vital, life affirming. Gods.

  627. Richard Ashcroft. Shite, shite, shite. No two ways about it. He wears a
  628. massive 70's jacket and sunglasses, behind a backdrop of stars, five gospel
  629. backing singers, a drummer who used to be in an almost good group, and paid
  630. up session musicians who fufill his dreary vision of meaningful soul circa
  631. 1984. It's like SPandau Ballet. The meaning is ripped out and replaced by
  632. anonymous soul wailing. The field is virtually empty. The fire in his eyes
  633. has gone out. The vision he held - is meaningless sub level-42 drivel. I'm
  634. watching a man's career die before my eyes, and he deserves it. It doesn't
  635. help that every song I see him perform, was recorded by a far superior band
  636. called The Verve, and that Richard has left strict instructions to the video
  637. cameramen that only he and the drummer be filmed. As I leave to see Moby,
  638. he's doing a cover of a Verve song called Space and Time, and it stinks more
  639. than a rolled up sock left inside a bag of mouldy bread.

  641. And onto Moby. A vertible whirlwind of humble, self-depreciating energy,
  642. Moby dispatches a set of short,. curt effiiency ,like a military assault,
  643. commands the stage with his enthusiasism Within one song he may play guitar,
  644. keys, bongos, and yell incoherently. He wins the band of the night award by
  645. some margin, which given the immensely powerful Cypress Hill and the
  646. visionary James is quite a feat.

  651. Enter Sandman (part), Body Rock, Honey (118 BPM Moby version), Feeling So
  652. Real, Porcelain (acoustic), Thousand.
