"run on" was the music durring the closing segment of "egg: the arts show"
episode on dance on pbs that was on just now. the closing segment
summerized what all the numerous dancers covered were doing now, and had
clips that were timed well to the music.
thought that was cool and i'd let everyone know. (it was a very nifty
special, tho kinda sad to see the damage some of the ballet dancers were
doing to their bodies...)

Well here it is midnight and I turn on that piece of shit MTV and am all
ready for 120 Minutes with Moby AS ADVERTISED ON THEIR WEBSITE amongst
other places.
So instead I've got that stupid Loveline show with that idiot Adam and some
woman talking about how she throws up every time after her boyfriend puts
the wood to her.
I'm real glad MTV could take the time from their weekend Love-fest with
that little ditzy pop tart Christina Aguilera to show repeats of
Loveline!!!!
WHERE THE F is 120 Minutes????????
MTV sucks,

Yes, MTV's website says that Moby will be hosting 120 minutes tonight!
http://www.mtv.com/sendme.tin?page=/mtv/music/120min/&sub=shows
They're showing Loveline right now, but Moby should be on in about a
half hour, at 01:00 AM EST. Looks like this will be the MTV debut
of the "Natural Blues" video. I thought they were showing it already,
but maybe that was just VH-1. New videos also from the Beastie Boys,
RHCP, NIN, etc.

Sorry about all of this.
I haven't checked this account for over 2 months (4,279 messages in the
INBOX), and I realize that this has dragged on way too long. I'd love to
say "It's done" or "I finished it last night" or something, but I can't.
I have all of the tracks, all of Andy's art-work, the original Thanks I,
and I have everyone's tapes. Everything (minus the tapes) has been moved
into digital format, and that is where it stands.
I haven't touched the tapes.
So, what I'd propose is that someone else takes the lead on this and I can
hand everything over. Do we need to start over? Absolutely not - its
very close to completion. But I've failed to finish this in a timely
manner and I don't want to drag it on any more.
Please e-mail me privately at gshipley@neohapsis.com - I check that
account. If you guys need to debate this a bit first, decide whose doing
it, THEN e-mail me, cool. Just let me know. I'll check this account
again, but the Neohapsis one is a far better one to reach me at.
Let me know what I can do, and again, I apologize. I really thought I
could finish this, but work/life has just really beaten me down over the
past 4 months. I thought wrong.
Tired and sorry,
- -Greg
P.S. Adny, I'll e-mail you separately to confirm your address and send
your stuff back this week.

OK, so I post a rant on here, then find out 120 Minutes is actually on at

So there is egg all over my face and unlike Moby, I am the BIG idiot

But that does not change my opinion on that TART Christina Aguilera
(example of her
show: "You know, it is like, ya know, so uncool to, like, be mean to
people, like ya know?" WOW! You are SOOOO deep you FREAKING IDIOT!!!!!) or

Ok folks, I think I'm your saviour.. Well not that kind of savior but I want
to make sure no one has any hard feelings toward Greg. Everyone has a real
life (hopefully not totally revolving around the mobility list). The secret
is to not let your online life take over your real life.
Sure some of you (including some of the remixers) may be angry that Thanks 2
has been delayed for awhile, but thats yesterdays news and todays news is it
will be completed and put on one of them round compact disc thingys. So if
any of you have a grudge, lets forget that, or if u dont want to forget it,
take it out on me. Though be nice, i might wilt and cry!
Anyways. Here's the deal, there's no definite deal yet.
No specific new date set. No nothing.
I volunteered before in case he had a problem, so now I'll be taking over.
I have a cd writer and I'll try and to get things squared away soon.
But it might take a week to get all the info and everything from Greg, so be
patient in that.
I also have school, a job, and somewhat of a life, so patience is a key
here. But I have more motivation than anyone here to get this finished,
trust me.
If you want to be kept informed on everything send me a personal email
(gold@netrox.net) and not one to the list and
I'll send you an update anytime something new happens. Whether it be I
tried to burn a cd and the cpu spit it out or Moby makes a visit and takes
the recordings home to his studio, I'll be sure to let you know.
Ok well I don't want to babble anymore or risk the possibility of pissing
anyone off, so thats all for now, and again email me if you're interested in
being kept up to date.
Thanks 2 will be done. (and no im not a politician!)
Now to watch Moby on 120mins!

Chris, I haven't been able to get through to your ftp site. I saw it via my
browser last Friday, but I couldn't connect to it with CuteFTP. (that turned
out to be my network, which must have had a firewall or something blocking
me) but I tried to reach it through a dial-up ISP over the weekend. Has
anybody else logged in successfully?
Anyways, I did get some songs onto Tom's computer, and he burned me an audio
CD of the following songs, which are ready to be encoded & uploaded:
The Brotherhood "Time's Up" (Dope Mix)
Ten City "Only Time Will Tell" (MOBGYN Mix)
Soho "Ride" (Moby's Dub)
Pork Guys "Four Lights, Hannah, Face the Facts, Fuck Xmas"
Brian Eno "Fractal Zoom" (A Capella)
Soundgarden "Dusty" (Moby Mix)
There might be one more, but that's what I remember.

There's no double 12", but as I recall Seismic was/is the label for
Razormaid, a DJ remix service that would make mixed programs for clubs and
DJs to use. I know "Go" has been on several of them. Jospeh Watt is probably
the person mixing all the various tracks together, one of which is "Next Is
The E". It's very highly unlikely that it's a custom remix of the song.
Take it easy,
Steve

oh well, moby was still on! of course he made the interview about 100x
better just because it was him
the questions they were asking him were a little stupid, I thought, but the
made his appearance interesting none the less
...and yes the played the "natural blues" video!
very cool...I do agree that we need to vote to get this on trl!
...
anyway...ok now they showed clips of videos for go, and James bond theme ,
and that's when I reach for my revolver!!!...that was nice!
anyone know his whole video catalog and if it possible to own them?

I ordered the double 12" though. Will give everyone here the tracklisting as
soon as it comes in. Another thing: I got a synth mix of that's when I reach
for my revolver. Where does that one come from (a friend of mine brought it
on CDr).

Yep, no problems here with CuteFTP (on dial-up modem & no network)
But it's so friggin' slow! On the previous FTP I used to get an average of
3.20k
per second on my 33k6 connection, now if I'm lucky I get 2.30k.

Not the Deep Mix? I love that version! You made a 56kbs mp3 file of this
once, but a 128kbs (or higher) file would also be nice. What's the Dope Mix
like anyway?
