  162. I was watching MTV last night (cuz it was a crappy South Park episode on) and 
  163. they were showing the finalist for the aids awareness short films.  The last 
  164. finalist that they showed was a video showing pictures on a beach or 
  165. something with Why Does My Heart Feel So Bad in the background, it was very 
  166. cool.

  168. RS had Play in the albums of 99 and compared him to Tom Waites... Odd...  But 
  169. sadly they didn't have a pic of him in the faces of 99... oh well.

  185. I dunno, I thought that he did a wonderful job.  I think that when I first
  186. heard that song, it really clicked in my head that *that* was MOBY's voice
  187. and not someone else.  I thought he sounded sorta sexy and the song was
  188. really moody which fits perfectly into my taste in music.  I thought it was
  189. wonderful.

  205. Probably because most of the people on this list
  206. have only purchased Play, and haven't experienced
  207. the rest of it.  To be honest, I would rate
  208. Bodyrock as the worst Moby song.  However,
  209. instead of saying that it's annoying or that "it
  210. sucks", I don't like the poppy/rock kind of feel
  211. to it.  It's not bad, but it's the worst right now.

  247. created.....it is so much like fatboy slim and just terrible.. and god they 
  248. play it on the radio!..as far as the james bond theme, yeah its a movie 
  249. score but it is pretty damn rad as far as movie soundtracks go.......and i 
  250. gotta disagree with everytime you touch me...i think that song (and 
  251. everything on "everything is wrong") is BRILLIANT! i think it is very 
  252. emotional and so dance inducing........very high quality.....i have another 
  253. least favorite, "thats when i reach for my revolver".....not that this song 
  254. is bad, but it in no way lives up to moby's quality.....and its really kinda 
  255. cheesy.......but here's a question: is this a cover, b/c i swear i've heard

  321. industrial rock goes.  Fold Zan is very cool, though.  Pop music meets big
  322. guitars meets drum & bass and techno.....

  364. I mean, the most common reason I've heard for not liking Bodyrock is "they
  365. play it on the radio"..SO?!?!?  that doesn't change the song...not listening
  366. to something just because it's on the radio is EXACTLY as mindless as only
  367. listening to what comes on the radio...just my little opinion..

  388. I'm with you on this one.. My only problem with BodyRock is that it doesn't 
  389. fit the mood of the rest of Play, but who am I to judge.. Would have been 
  390. better on one of his more hyper albums, but even there it doesn't fit.  I 
  391. also think that it's the reason for Play coming into the spotlight because it 
  392. is so commercially friendly...   I still vote for Honey because of the 
  393. annoying vocals as the sole reason.. Take those out and its a cool song.. I 
  394. don't understand why he made that his first single...

  645. favorites and it's only natural to discuss the works that we think were
  646. sub par, ya know?

  648. I dunno.  I don't totally dig all moby songs but I have to say even the
  649. ones I don't really dig are more thoughtfull than a lot of bullshit
  650. music that comes out these days and who knows, when my tastes mature
  651. again, maybe those songs I don't like much will be my favorites.  :-P

  653. But yeah, my favorite moby stuff is deffinately Everything is wrong, End
  654. of Everything, I like to Score, and so on.  Play is a great album too.
  655. Early Underground doesn't really do anything for me but that's just me
