  187. ok i was watching VH! cuz they were doing the whole
  188. Weird Al thing again (weird al is a friggin
  189. GENIUS!!!!!!) and they had a commercial for "The List"
  190. and Moby was on it!

  192. so watch VH1 every night at 7 PM eastern or whatever
  193. to see if Moby is on! yay!

  195. the live weird al concert was a tad dissaopinting,
  196. tho. i mean he played a bunch of genius classics:
  197. Smells Like Nirvana, Gump (not the best song ever, but
  198. it damn rocks), DARE TO BE STUPID (greatest line in
  199. muzik ever: STICK YOUR HEAD IN THE MICROWAVE AND GET
  200. YOURSELF A TAN) etc. but well  the crowd didnt totally
  201. seem to be havin it. o well, they were all like 9
  202. years old and their parents, so i guess they didnt
  203. know how to ROCK yet. i even saw one guy readin the
  204. newspaper during the show! you suck!

  206. MTV also did the special about the  new REM video.
  207. rock, REM are also geniuses. the song rules, the video
  208. is pretty good too, and it will absolutely bomb on the
  209. charts cuz nobody gives a shit about REM anymore. but
  210. who cares, they rock still. also, many times i see
  211. Stipe and i SWEAR he's Moby. damn. of course Moby's
  212. speaking voice doesnt ever sound like i think it would
  213. sound like. i mean, when he's doing interviews, he
  214. doesnt even sound like "The Sky Is Broken" or
  215. anything. he sounds like an old man, kind of. kind of
  216. like how i thikn Stipe should sound like.

  339. or replacing it with something else until they get off their lazy bums and

  465. in the store while they looked around.  As I was waiting, what do I hear 
  466. playing none other than Moby.  I was so excited I was jumping up and down 
  467. like a freak!  The workers started looking at me funny and oh well to hell 
  468. with them.  I was dancing to the whole song, Natural Blues.  I was really 
  469. hyped up cause I'll be seeing him again this coming wednesday, I can't wait.

  593. that's right, but it happens often, that you don't get the data (scratches or
  594. other surface damage) and then the cdplayer somehow approximates the data
  595. according to previous and following bytes. and that causes the noise they were
  596. trying to avoid by putting the cd in the fridge in order to get less of the
  597. usual surface damage. 
  598. but i think it's a dirty crap too.

  600. well, i prefer painting your whole cd with a black felt-tip pen, so that it
  601. look like a vynil. :)

  606. p.s. one other question, is there some ftp server with all (or almost all) moby
  607. songs as mp3s ? because if not, i'd like to make some, when we get internet
  608. connection to my youth hostel. does anybody now if 500 megs of disc space would
  609. be enough ? i guess yes, but who knows.
