>kinda like fatboyslim he has a kiddy clean version its called where in heavin
>is now called illin in heaven i'm not sure but i heard that the lyrics are
>even changed to "fatboy slim is illin in heaven" quite lame eh ?
i was in wal-mart a few weeks ago when i was really bored and saw this cd. but the cd that really intigued me was nirvana'a "in utero". the song "rape me" was listed on the back of the cd as "waif me". what hte fuck does that even mean? maybe im stupid, but i didnt even know waif was a verb. second of all it changes the whole meaning of the song, in fact it takes away all meaning the song had. thats my 2 cents for a while.

Check out Jello Biafras NO MORE COCOONS cd for the full story. Bluntly
put, someone somewhere ina Christian Lobby is petitioning major stores
by telling them they will boycott them if they sell "offensive"
material. the fact that somebody thinks they can airbrush the world and
castrate art is far more offensive than a naughty word on an album.

Subject: (mobility) I got the German Run On 12" today!
Hi everybody!
Now that we're all so busy with all these Bodyrock promo's & singles
we would almost forget about this release...
First of all I want to say: IF YOU HAVE THE CHANCE, GET THIS
GERMAN 12" OF 'RUN ON' !!!! because it's F#CKIN' GREAT!!!
(pardon my language, but that's how excited I am about it!)
First some boring (but ever so useful) discography info:
RUN ON [May 1999]
GE 12", Intercord, INT 8 86865 6
A1 6:00 Run On (Sharam Remix)
A2 5:25 Run On (Plastic Angel Original)
AA1 10:05 Run On (Dani K÷nig Remix)
AA2 4:40 Run On (Plastic Angel New Mix)
NOTE:
- - The catalog# is INT.... and not MUTE INT.... as with all other
German Moby releases. There is, however, the Mute logo
(->a walking man, seen from above) on the record itself...
- - The record has a plain black sleeve. Only tracklisting and title
on the record itself in small letters which are totally different from
the so called 'new Moby font' which is on Honey, Play etc.
The record really looks like a promo, but it isn't...
- - The Plastic Angel remix names on the record are different from
the ones given earlier by Daniel Cerman:
5:25 Run On (Plastic Angel's House Of Pain Mix) [1st mix]
>>Is on the record: 5:25 Run On (Plastic Angel Original)<<
4:00 Run On (Plastic Angel's Celebration Mix)
>>Is on the record: 4:40 Run On (Plastic Angel New Mix)<<
Yes, the Plastic Angel New Mix is listed as 4:40 and not 4:00
REVIEW:
A1 6:00 Run On (Sharam Remix)
I think that most of us know this remix from the US Honey/Run ON
single by now, so I'm not going to review this now...
[My personal grading: 7 points out of 10]
A2 5:25 Run On (Plastic Angel Original)
WOW! "Run On meets clubby house grooves" would describe this
mix best. The vocals are pitched up to match the funky bassline.
No continuous disco sample like with Sharam's Mix here, but a solid
house track with a bassline that really stays in your head and that has
the quality to be (in a shorter version) a second radio edit for the regular
Run On single!
[My personal grading: 9 points out of 10]
AA1 10:05 Run On (Dani K÷nig Remix)
I'm going to borrow a review from www.moby.org if you don't mind:
"This rare remix is available only on the US promo 12" and on the German
Run On 12", which you might be able to find if you're lucky. It is long,
minimal,
and repetitive -- probably too much so for the average person. But I think
it's
excellent, and definitely above par. It captures the mood of running on for
a
long time by relentlessly repeating a simple but menacing synth phrase over
a tense, pounding rhythm. Dani K÷nig took a page from Moby's book by
ending the track with an evocative descending string progression. This grand
remix belongs in any good DJ's library."
I totally agree with Daniel on this one.
[My personal grading: 8.5 points out of 10]
AA2 4:40 Run On (Plastic Angel New Mix)
This mix is 100% instrumental (not even voice samples). It only samples
some sounds from the original Run On. The mix starts off with an acid loop
(like in Honey (Dark Mix) and evolves into a pounding trance track. Half way
the song some cool synths are added and the song gets a more commercial
sound -> the now in Europe so VERY popular 'Clubtrance' sound, which is a
very melody based version of the 'regular' trance sound. I LOVE THIS MIX!
[My personal grading: 9.2 points out of 10]
This German Run On 12" is really one of the best 12"s I have!!
(together with my 2 Hymn 12"s...)
