okay-bought this cd single for next is the e remixes. it has 2 versions
along with this mover mix of 'go'. anybody have any idea about this? i just
bought it because i've never seen it before.
also-because of honey and twirfmr remixes, i've gotten heavily into
faithless. sorry off subject-but 'sunday 8pm' is different from
'reverence'. more moody-but if you have chance check out 'take the long way
home'. that, along with 'god is a dj' (longer than monster mix-8
minutes-more progression, it's what i like) is reason enough to have praise
for rollo and sister bliss.
is moby touring? the reason why is that a friend of mine said that there
was a possibility of booking moby and tricky to do a show for their
university. yikes?
cheers,

I love the 'Interdimension dub?' of "Is That You Mo-Dean?" It's so goofy.
Is that you Mo-Dean?
It is I, Mo Dean!
It that you Mo-Dean?
It's ME, Mo-Dean!
There's one really long mix of Mo-Dean he did that sucks, IMO. There's
another w/ lyrics intact that has an awesome trance breakdown that I can't
get enough of.. it's track 3 on the Mo-Dean side of Revolution Earth/

I've got here "Souvenir" remixed by Moby, and he has respected the orignal
song. Others in this CD are "Enola Gay" by Sash! (pizzi-pizzicato, I like
it), and Electricity by The Micronauts.
The CD is titled "The OMD remixes"

the Micronauts mix. I hope they release it on vinyl. Is it dancey or rockey?
Instead I got Mike Koglin's 2x12" called "The Silence". They're club & house
mixes of "Enjoy The Silence" by Depeche Mode (hello delobbo!) They're not
spectacular, but they are do range from decent to very good. John Norman
contributes a good mix.

Danny, is that 8 minute version of "God Is A DJ" called the album version?
If so, I must say I rather like it as well. It's like a Rollo & Sister Bliss

I don't think Mute has posted tour info indicating HOB in November in
Chicago, or any other US dates, but then again, they don't always give the
best notice ahead. If he IS coming it's gonna be one hell of a month for

I'd say it's dance, but as I said, it keeps its resemblance with the original
(Sash! mix is quite different).

_____oh yeah...
i have a 'friend' with a printer. a big (color) printer. one that could
probably save money on printing the inserts. i ran the idea past him to have
him print the inserts with it. basically it depends on how many cd's are
being made. around 100 would be fine and the cost would be for supplies used-
maybe less. the reason i suggest the printer is because the quality of the
prints vs. Kinko's color copy's (copy machine colorcopies usually randomly
throw too much red in too many places and i have almost no idea what it costs)
if you'd like me to further the idea, it wouldn't be a problem. i do live in
chicago though and have no idea what postage could be.

First times I heard Honey on the radio I didn't know which artist it was.
Later I also experienced the Moby's 118 Mix and the Rollo Mix (Still didn't
know the name of the song nor the artist). The song really caught me and it
was first when I sat on the subway humming on the refrain
(...Tralalalala-Sometime..) that the girl next to me asked : So...you're
into Moby. Even tho' my musical skills are less than horrible she recoqnized
it and it really surprized me to learn I was (more or less) singing on his
melody.
The song is not a typical "Dance" style song (tho' some of the remixes are)
more like TekFunk (like Daft Punk mixed with hmm...Fatboy Slim(?)). The song
is quite catchy and really easy to remember. Kind of Hip hop inspired also I
guess one can say.
I counted 73 instances of "Sometime" in the radio version, anyone care to
verify this? (Should be easier than the argue of how many "Go"'s there are
in Go?)

Well, it's time for me to speak on behalf of Kinko's, seeing as how I've
been working at one here in St. Louis for a few months now. First off,
the cost of something like what was suggested above. If the copies are
run directly from a digital file (which can be done at some, but not all,
Kinko's stores), there would be a one-time RIP fee of $9.95, plus 99 cents
for each copy that is made. Without having seen the artwork, I guess you
might be able to fit two on one page, so it would essentially be 50 cents
each. Another option is to print directly to the printer hooked up to
computers in the store...each print there would cost $1.49 (I think).
Here's a pro-con version of the two options:
--If you're making 100 prints, or thereabouts, it would be cheaper
to make the prints using the first option.
--The first option allows for color adjustment (to get rid of that
nasty red stuff mentioned earlier, which is a common occurrence
at my Kinko's), while the second option does not.
--The first option is full service, meaning that you just bring in
a disk with the file on it, or even e-mail it to the store, they
(should) make a test copy to make sure of color gradations, and
run the copies for you.
So basically, I would suggest the first option (printing directly from the
digital file). If we make, say, 100 copies, assuming it's only one side,
the cost would be $9.95 (RIP charge) + $99.00 (for the copies) = $108.95.
I'm not sure, but you might also get a quantity discount, but I'm not sure
what that discount would be.
In addition, seeing as how I'm an employee there, I receive a 25%
discount. So, depending on when this all goes down, and assuming I'm
still working there at that point, I can volunteer my services. Y'all
could probably find a way to do it cheaper, though. So, Ryu, if you would
like my services in this endeavour, let me know.
This concludes my post. Have a good day, y'all.
