I know it is a little weird to send cash in the mail,
so you could send a check, too, if you want. Sorry
that the price is a bit more than originally quoted,
but I neglected to add in the CD insert's copies to
the estimate. The $10 you are sending will be used
only for buying the CD, color copies of the inserts,
and shipping and handling.

Jewish. :) Funny that the first response I have ever made on this list is

that he would do a seperate album with guitar(s)
under a different NAME, (september `98)

i guess it doesn't have to be...just that last time he did
big guitars as moby, and small electronics as voodoo child.
so why not just swap?

the original cocept of the compilation is that it would be very rare and only
for list members. i had been asked by 2 record label about ordering it, one
wanted to know wholesale prices! i also had no copyrights on these, and i
didn't want to take any chances on legal action from elektra, instinct, mute,
trophy, or anyone else.

From: Paul Simpson <techno_gpig@yahoo.com>
Subject: (mobility) ME!!!!!
Hey peeps!!!
I'm new to the list and I just wanted to let everyone know who I am.
My name is Paul Simpson, I'm 14, I live in Hamden Connecticut, and
(obviously) I'm a huge Moby fan.
I started listening to Moby about a year ago. The first Moby song I
heard was That's When.. on my local "modern rock" station. Then I
heard his song on Schoolhouse Rock. Then Iheard some of his techno
stuff. Over the last year I've really been getting into techno music,
so I've been listeing to Moby a LOT lately.
Last summer, I found a tape at the Goodwill store that was marked
"Moby:Everything Is Wrong" and I had heard great reviews for it so I
bought it. I was totally amazed when I listened to it. As an added
bonus, whoever dubbed the tape stuck the first 10 songs from Early
Underground on side 2, so that was my intro. to early moby.
I bought ILTS the week it came out, and I just bought Rare/Go a few
weeks ago. I think it's tha bomb. I guess you could say I'm a convert
Moby hardcore or something.
I unfortunately missed his date in New Haven at Toad's recently :( Me
and my bud Spaz wanted to go, but we didn't have $ or a ride. (Blahh)
My fave moby songs are UHF (aka UHF3) Voodoo Child, God Moving...,
Next Is the E (Club Mix), Thousand, and the Analog and Original mixes
of GO. It's hard to pick faves b-cuz all Moby I've heard is great.
My other fave groups are Chembros (my fave, even though they don't
have 1/2 Moby's talent) Orbital, Aphex, Blur, Nirvana, Prodigy, lots
of other techno groups, Liz Phair, Cornershop, Goldie, some rap groups
(Fugees, KRS1, De La Soul, Tribe, Wu-Tang), old 311, old Foo Fighters,
Fatboy Slim, some Sublime, Melissa Etheridge, Bush, some No Doubt,
classical, jazz, blues, folk, world music, I could go on
for years...
What I DON'T Like is:
Country, Spice Girls, Hanson, Oasis, Puff Daddy, other crappy losers
like them.
My favorite animals are guinea pigs (EEEEEEEEEP!!!)
I have 4 of them in my house (mine's name is Buddy he's an albino,
he's cute, he squeals a lot, EEEEEEEEEEP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)
My fave tv shows:The Simpson's (duh, it's my last name)
South Park(except the Xmas one), AMP(except they never play Moby :(
and lots of shows on MTV, and M2(they do play Moby :o)
I have a homepage:
<http://freezone.com/homes/c/Chembrodude/musicofthemonth.html>
you can vote for fave bands, CDs, etc. Bookmark it I update
frequently...
