Wow!!! I'm shocked at the impressive line up not to mention the (dare I
say?) duets. I'm looking forward to this soundtrack...
I wasn't too impressed with the 30 second sample either... but it did
sound progressive or at least different - that should be a good thing.

Hi everybody,
I was wondering if anyone has an extra copy of the singe come on baby, the
rubber case ltd. well anyway if so would ya be willing to sell it and if
so how much would ya want. I am interested in getting one of these and
think I have found a place where I might be able to get a couple, but it is
not cheap at all. So if you are interested in selling me one, or even

amazing part is the 1/2 page section devoted to eye q/harthouse. this is

the CD single i have for "go" says that the car company ripped=20
off his music without his permission. he then used the money from the=20
SINGLE for the charity "transport 2000."
i liked that cookie idea. that's just about the only thing that dosen't=20
harm something else. it would have to be some kind of "down home" type=20
cookies made by someone's old grandmother.

It would probably be vegan as well - which isn't as hard as it sounds. I
made some kick-ass vegan chocolate chip / peanut butter / coconut cookies
this weekend. *SO* good!
Maybe I could get Moby to endorse my cookies....

Yes Eric, the AR live promo is rare. I wouldn't mind owning the thing.
AFAIK, the live tracks below are not offered on anything else. The
"Come On Baby" single offered some live tracks from the recording at The
Splash Club but not in limited and exclusive release like those offered
in the promo.
As for the Cnotes promotion... I'm extremely disappointed at whole
process. Samu, since you got your _Reverence_ CD's, I should be getting
mine soon too. However, what has happened to the _Animal Rights_ CD's!
Gads, the Moby promotion started before Faithless and its been five
months now. And for those interested in participating... forget it...
the promotion is over with and the five month wait isn't worth it.
ANIMAL RIGHTS: LIVE AT THE SPLASH CLUB (17:32) [1996]
UK CD, Mute, PCDStumm150
NOTE: People attending Moby's European headline tour receive this
disc for free, while supplies last. All tracks were recorded
live at the Splash Club (UK) on July 11, 1996.

I have it, and it's a nice addition to your Moby collection. It's nice because
it has the track Shining (I believe that track is on the UK version of BBMH,
not sure though) and that's the main reason I bought it.
It also has two full length music videos for your computer. Hymn (This is my
dream) and ETYTM (Beatmasters mix or whatever they call it :)
Very cool! Well worth the money (compared to imported singles..)

it also includes make your own remix section (it is crappy, but anyways) and
lot of Moby's interviews. And i almost forgot, it also includes some video
clips of Move. well disk is worth of money..
btw, i got that ar live promo yesterday, Moby really fucks those songs, i
mean really. he plays all so fast and fast. and he sings like an asshole.
i also david bowie's dead man walking vinyl, it rocks!. it only includes
those 2 moby mixes, i bought it 10$ (on your money) from my local record
store. worth it!

Thanks for the info Shaun and Samu. I think that it will me a lovely addition
to my collection. I just hope that I don't have any problems loading the
thing. Having said that I know now that I will probably spend hours
screaming at people on technical support. I was wondering if there was a
difference between the Moby Disk and the Moby Disk MPC? CDnow's website had
these two listed, CDuniverse only had the Moby Disk listed. Anyone know
anything about this?
I'm having problems with my other e-mail address. If you responded in

the regular Moby Disk is the ecd. (cd audio on session 1 and cdrom
data on session 2) the mpc version has data on session 1. it was
made for older cdroms that can't read multi-session disks (ecd's).
that probably doesn't mean alot to you unless you know a lot about
cdroms. but the mpc version may or may not have the cd audio on it i
don't know, i've never seen it. if it does it would have to start on
track 2. so... only get the mpc version if your cdrom won't play the
regular one. well i tried to explain it as best i can, hope i didn't
just confuse you more.

Howdy,
FINALLY... after what, five months? CNotes finally sends out the
domestic release of "Animal Rights" for the promotion that they
covered. It's in wonderful condition and I'm glad have it in my hands
for free. But wasn't there suppose to be two copies sent out?

Yes, they said that anyone linking to Elektra's Moby page would get two
free copies of Animal Rights. This was a really, really bad promotion.
Hey, Elektra! Ahem. Most people who participated in this promotion
were probably Moby fans, who really were looking forward to getting his
new album ASAP. If I would have known what an extremely low priority
it was/is to deliver on your end, I wouldn't have participated, and
would
have instead paid for my US AR CD the day it came out (February 11th).
You talk the talk but won't walk the walk. I think it was exactly six
months ago that I joined this bogus promotion (I had already linked to
Elektra's Moby page more than a year prior to this). I *still* don't
have the US release version of AR, because I've been expecting these
two free copies that were promised in January. Fellow Moby fans have
either finally bought the album in exasperation, months after its much
anticipated release, or are still waiting. Maybe some have gotten
bored & given up on Moby. That's a great way to leave those of us who
discuss and promote Moby on the web. Oh well...
My 2 cents: Moby should have stayed on Instinct.

Hey Daniel!!! It's good to hear from you again. I'm glad I'm not alone
in my disappointment with how CNotes and Elektra followed through on
this promotion. I figure it's more Elektra's fault than anything
because they have full control over how the CD's are released. At the
same time I had my reservations because it was almost too good to be
true. I figured they would delay sending out the CD's just so there
sales wouldn't be damaged but five/six months later is ridiculous.
I wonder how Moby feels about his record deal with Elektra. I know the
label pretty much sucked when it came to handling their contract with
Erasure (another group I love). It seems like Elektra insists on great
sales or they will drop you or withdraw their support fast. Then again,
they're releasing "The End of Everything" which confuses me to no end.
Is this really going to be released under Voodoo Child instead of
Moby???
p.s. Can anyone tell me where I can find a search engine for locating
various DLL's? Or a huge site full of them? Any help or suggestions
would be greatly appreciated. Please reply to me personally on this
matter. Thanks!
