I was working 13 hr night shifts while staying away from home and had to run two tanks of gas through it before I had time to do anything. Then I emery-clothed the area and plastered seal-all on top of the crack. (This stuff works great. It sealed a leaking oil-pan on a car of mine while the pan was weeping.) However, the crack grew larger immediately. I had to drive the bike ~400 more km before I got it home so I patched more seal all on it. It now drips about twice per hour rather than once every 5 seconds. I really recommend seal-all in a jam.
My next plan of attack was to either center-punch or drill out each end of the crack, then add filler. I'm planning to use J-B Weld. Does anyone know if it holds gas? If that fails, brazing will do fine.
The IMS tank is enticing, but it costs more than the J-B ($8 at Canadian Tire) and the Kawi tank-bag wouldn't fit without mods.
