It shouldn't be hard to adapt an airline kit that suits pump-up car
shocks.

With the loss of popularity of air assist in forks, dedicated bike
kits would be harder to find than they used to be.
A shop that specialises in dirt bike may have some stock.
I don't use above atmospheric pressure in my forks, I'm not fussed
by the fork dive.

Subject: (klr650) Dual Star/Headlight Protector
If you really want to go cheap I had the hardware store cut me 2 pieces of plexiglass ($2) to fit on the headlight along with velcro "dot" fasteners ($2).
I sanded/buffed the edges of the plexiglass, peeled the protective cover;
put 4 velcro dots on the headlight and the mates on the plexiglass;
let the velcro dots stay on overnight;
put the plate on in the morning and it works fine.
It's easily removable to clean, but usually the inside doesn't get dirty.
If I get a ding in the plexiglass I'll replace it with my spare.
Total cost: $4 and 5 minutes.

Like Jeff, I'm looking for that headlight protector at an auto-parts place and
having no luck. Anyone find it in a big chain in the SF Bay?
And, on a dual-sport thread, anyone ever ridden one of these:
1994 DUCATI E900 Elephant, 6k mi., fresh tires, full
service, warr., $6900, we are SF's used bike center, fin.,
warr. &
service plans avail., S.F. Moto & Scooter, 275 8th St., near
Folsom, dlr., 415-255-3132, San Francisco
It sure looks cool... er, I mean, it looks okay. It's not a KLR or anything
but if you had to buy Italian due to heritage or other personal limitations :)
