How about ride/route info on the scenic way from Tucson AZ to Deming NM. I want to include Tombstone AZ. Thinking of I-10 to Benson, hwy 80 thru Tommbstone, Bisbee Douglas Apache back to !-10 and on to Deming. I only have 1 1/2 days to get to Deming from Phoenix so could fit a slower more interesting route in. Was going to go into the Coronado Nat'l forest (north, Mt Graham) but it is still winter that high? So now decided to do the south...old west area.
Thanks!

Subject: Re: (klr650) 16 tooth sproket
I have read alot about the 16 tooth sproket, and would just like to know if
everyone changes to the 15 or 14 tooth when you go on the dirt?
Or do you just ride with the 16 all of the time?
________________
I've done both...the KLR is versatile enough to work pretty well in any
case...it just changes the nature of the ride. I think there is something to
be said for running a 14 all the time if you have a heavily loaded bike for
camping or two-up...I ended up liking the 14 or the 16 in preference to the
15...
