My Norton's all leaked from the primary chain case...I'm a better mechanic now and I
think I could have worked with it.

Has anyone tried the barnett kevlar disks on a KLR? My HD has
them and on my first test flight (to my amazement) the front wheel
lifted 18 inches off the ground shifting into 2nd gear.

I want to thank the list for responding to my request for info on the
lowering links. They were installed today, including the shortened side
stand. Unfortunately it was too windy to get a good opinion of the
modified bike, however, I can at least touch both feet on the ground
when it's parked! (that's a good sign.)
Thanks again to the list

Morgan,
Funny you should mention Martha. I will be talking with her people this
next week, and could possibly help you out. I'm assuming you have the hots
for her?

I'm totally hot for Martha, but I heard she was hopelessly caught in a
love triangle between Jesse Ventura and The Rock from the WWF. I suspect
the latent biker chick persona she conceals so well gets away from her on
weekends and that explains the enormous amount of time she has spent with
the motorcycle community as of late.
I heard she has this recipe for "saddle sushi" that is just to die for.
Packed in these cute little stainless steel tins specially designed to keep
your fish frosted on those long off road adventures. Chilled sake, beluga
caviar, those little soda crackers, sliced kiwi, and a nice brie. Perfect
trailside fare. All packed in a top-case basket with napkins that look just
like shop towels. Oh she's hot all right.
Morgan
I can't wait for Moab!

That would probably go over just about as well as heating your chain in the
grease mixture on the stove. My wife is very thankful for aerosol chain lubes.

Let's pretend we're in L.A. Everybody thinks a triangle is the maximum
possibility, and that it's hopeless.
Martha goes for soft eyelashes and big fellows.

I'll let her know how you feel. It's a long shot though - my people told
her people that we use both sides of the shop napkin. We must have left a
suspicious streak on the tablecloth a year ago...they haven't been as
friendly lately.
