Subject: (jarre) Le Maitre update.
Hello all,
I've added the next things to Le Maitre:
- - Auto Update feature: now you can subscribe to a list for getting
anautomated e-mail message each time the robot finds an update of the main
pages. All you have to do is to click on the "Updates/Actualizaciones"
button at the botton toolbar of my pages, and select the page you want to
monitor. Read carefully the instructions. Available in both English and
Spanish versions.
- - The chatroom has been tested succesfully, so now its working ok. I
added a feature to know who is on-line, and to quit and join the
chatroom.
- - I change the method for sending a visitor to another page, now I use
browser redirection, in order to avoid some "transfer interrupted" error
messages in some browsers and conditions. Please report me any failure,
or if this method doesn't work with your browser. (BTW, I use only for
the buttons which transport you to a different language version of the
pages).
I'm also working to enhance the MIDI archive (the biggest on the net) with
the names of all the fans who made the sequences. Thanks to Francois
Demeyer for his help in getting the names.
C'u.
PS: This is not directly related to Jarre, but to France: I added a
Discussion Forum for the French actress Juliette Binoche. Check it at:
http://labpar1.cs.buap.mx/rgg/jb/
Also for the LaTeX users I added a LaTeX forum (Dr. LaTeX). It'll be
supported by some teachers of the University. Check my main homepage, the
URL is at the signature.

I noticed different inexpensive Jarre CDs at Virgin Megastore in NYC
might have something to do with the sony deal? I know a classical label
that got a new distribution deal, so most of their back catalog was sold
off for cheap in the U.S.
They were selling for U.S. $8. many have sold out by now
Oxygene
Equinoxe
Magnetic Fields
Zoolook (remix on the one I bought)
Rendevous
Revolutions
Jarre Live
Interestingly they were not notched or hole punched.

Hi,
As I'm new to the list, I thought I'd take this oppurtunity to introduce
myself. My name is Andrew Lewis, and I'm from England. I'm 26, and am
currently working for a Pro-Audio company, here in London, while my
right hand recovers from been badly broken, allowing me to return to my
preferred career of professional keyboard playing.
I had the pleasure of seeing Jarre at the Lost City gig in South Africa,
where I spent six and a half years playing.
I look forward to learning plenty and sharing my views on the man
himself.
Best Wishes

Today was my lucky day. Altough I had to work today I managed to get a
lot of my cd's autographed by JMJ, because my wife went to Amsterdam for
me. She told me Jarre's wife Charlotte was also present. Does anyone
know if this is true or was she mistaking and was it Fiona?
She also told me there where very few women. Is it true that Jarre has
so little female fans? I must say I'm surprised by that.
I also want to thank the guy (I don't exactly know who, so if you are on
this list please respond) who made a picture of Jarre and my wife and
promised to send it to me. Thank you very much in advance (I wish it
would be me on that picture, but you can't have it all).

Unfortunetly ETA coach's don't do a coach to the Wembley concert, so me
and Andrew are still a bit stuck :-(
So, to reiterate, is there anyone from Manchester going to London, who
lives in London, or lives betwen Manchester and London willing to lend us
a sofa or lounge floor after the concert ?
Otherwise we will have to sleep in Euston station :-/

this is the limited edition (3D picture or something like that). I

Subject: (jarre) New CDs in Canada
Hi,
This is addressed to those of you in Canada that might be interested in
the new albums. I was in the HMV yesterday (Rideau Center in Ottawa)
and they have all three CDs on file:
- - Oxygene Part 8 (Part 1) $11.99 CDN
- - Oxygene Part 8 (Part 2) $11.99 CDN
- - Oxygene Parts 7-13 (did not have price)
They could not place orders for them as they have not yet been released
but I was told that they should have some in stock by the end of the
month (February). Hopefully, they will come in a bit earlier :)
Regards,
Sylvain

Subject: (jarre) Hello !
Hi everybody !
I'm new on the list and happy to be there, so let me introduce myself :
I'm 21 and I've been a fan of JMJ for er , er 1,2 ,.... 7 ! years.
My hobbies are playing keyboards, mountain bike, reading, piloting
go-karts and of course listening to JMJ's music .
I'm french, so I can quite easily find good items od Jarre, even if I
can't find all the versions of the last CD single !
As I've a free access to internet , I maintain a page on Jarre at
http://www.ensta.fr/~cohas/jmj
and of course it's in french , because the fans in france aren't active
enough , and there's no big pages on JMJ . My page is quite new and I
try to update it each day with more and more informations .
For example, I need a maximum of informations on Magnetic Fields ,
Waiting For Cousteau and his concerts (instruments , figures , etc ...)
Could someone help me ?
Lots of you seem to be very well informed of the agenda of JMJ : are
there any interviews or autograph sessions in FNACs in France in the
next days ? (or weeks, doesn't matter !)
Bye, I'm waiting for the 18 with mor and more impatience !
