Does anybody know where can I get the JMJ Video Clips? (Specially from the
Oxygene 7-13 album, because I have the Images video, which has the old video
clips). Thanks.

Subject: (jarre) Thank you... I guess?
Well, well, well,
today I got mail from Epic Records, the Netherlands. I couldn't really
phantom why, but I was even more surprised when I found a CD inside: "The
classic Jean-Michel Jarre", "remastered utilising 96 Khx - 24 bit
technology".
Right.
What I'd really like to know is: why? I seem to remember having filled in
some form at the Sony Netherlands homepage, but that was like a century ago.
No accompaning note, nothing. Just this "Special promotional disc".
Not that I'm complaining, but I'm a bit confused about the whole thing. Am I
the only one who got this disc, or are there other lucky folk like me?
Well, the tracklist:
1. Oxygene 4
2. Equinoxe 6
3. Magnetic fields 2
4. Souvenir of China
5. Zoolook
6. Second rendez-vous part 2
7. Wooloomooloo (live)
8. Revolution, revolutions
9. September (live)
10. Calypso
11. Chronologie 4
12. Fishing junks at sunset
13. Oxygene 13
As if I didn't have enough versions of "Chronologie 4" as it is. But as the
old Dutch saying goes, "je mag een gegeven paard niet in de bek kijken".
For something completely different: how much does the "Music for
supermarkets" album cost nowadays? And would one get into serious trouble if
he would make a CD off the original album? MfS may be a "work of art", but
there are also things known as reproductions...

Subject: (jarre) JMJ advert in What Hi-Fi? magazine
Hi all,
Some of you may be interested to know that a full page advert for all
of Jarre's albums is in this months What Hi-Fi? magazine in the UK
(January 1998 - Page 50).
All of the albums are shown (both the Nice Price and Full Price
albums, which are marked as such), and there is also Complete
Oxygene.
However, Sony's error #182...
"Complete Oxygene - Limited Edition Box Set
Featuring the brand new track - Oxygene 7
2 CD set - 24 Page colour booklet
Available now"
DOH!!!
It is nice to see some promotion for Jarre like this, but I wish Sony
bothered to get their damn facts right in the first place!!! ;-}}}
Ta la
Dave
