  6. the past year in the "He Will Come" cantata by Raelene Card, available for 
  7. free download from our webpage  http://www.hewillcome.org/

  9. We have been very gratified to hear from many people all around the world 
  10. who downloaded the free sheet music and have enjoyed "He Will Come."  It 
  11. has been downloaded by visitors from over 30 countries.  Thanks for your 
  12. support and encouragement!  We are grateful to hear that choirs are now 
  13. preparing to perform the cantata in connection with Easter Sunday, which 
  14. will be April 15, 2001.  While "He Will Come" is effective and moving at 
  15. Christmas, it seems especially powerful when presented as part of an Easter 
  16. program, emphasizing the sacrifice and resurrection of the Savior.

  18. Many of you have asked about obtaining a recording of the music for your 
  19. own listening, or to assist in preparing choirs to perform the 
  20. cantata.  We're excited to announce the availability this spring of a Demo 
  21. CD to help with those needs.  This recording will be offered to assist 
  22. choir directors, soloists, accompanists, and choir members in learning the 
  23. music and preparing for performances.  It will include a full choral 
  24. version of the cantata, professionally recorded and reproduced with piano 
  25. accompaniment, as well as piano-only tracks for those who wish to use the 
  26. recording for singing practice or performance.  Note that this is not a 
  27. fully-orchestrated recording such as you would expect from a commercial 
  28. offering; the accompaniment is recorded, with piano, flute, and viola, 
  29. exactly as it is written in the sheet music you can download here.  The 
  30. purpose is to help learn the music in preparation for a 
  31. performance.  However, based on the quality of singers and musicians 
  32. involved in the project, we believe you will also find the recording to be 
  33. powerful and very enjoyable to listen to.

  35. As you know, we have not charged anything for downloading our sheet music, 
  36. and are allowing unlimited reproduction of copies of the music for 
  37. noncommercial performance through the end of 2001.  Our desire is not to 
  38. make money in this endeavor, but to share this beautiful music and the 
  39. joyous message it proclaims.  The same applies to this new Demo 
  40. CD.  However, we did incur significant costs in producing and distributing 
  41. the CD, and so would like to offer a copy of the CD for those who make a 
  42. donation of just $10 to the nonprofit "Sonshine Music Productions" to 
  43. assist in our efforts.
