  22. All I can say is that I've been mutely (but keenly!)kept any eye on this
  23. list to watch the development of this "project".  The energy and momentum
  24. building here is fantastic, and something sorely needed here for quite some 
  25. time! Stefan, Your's and Ivan's support of the project speaks volumes. :)

  27. I *do* sing, but have no way to record, so I will play the good "soccer mom"
  28. and cheer you guys on from the sidelines....wooHOO! This WILL happen, and it
  29. will be DAMN good! Personally, I think that the list  (or at least the
  30. artists involved) should STRONGLY consider releasing this commercially, as
  31. it should be heard. Maybe talk to Carl Oglio, eh? ;)

  70. Ahem ... have you ever HEARD an MP3 at 256kbps ?!  :)
  71. Even if you encode from an old tape (really risky) you
  72. get no (audible) losses whatsoever at 256kbps.
  73. I don't bet, but I DARE you to hear the difference between
  74. .WAV (44100khz 16bit) and .MP3 (256kbps) !!!

  113. Well M2 just played "Moonbeam" the other day and I recorded it and converted
  114. it to MPEG-1 VCD standards. The Video is on my freediskspace account. If you
  115. already have an account at freediskspace.com just go to
