Sorry for the delay in responding. I was waiting on Brad to say something,
first... ;-)
Well, it turned out that it was only the two of us. There are a couple more
list members here in Atlanta, I think, and there was a possibility that at
least one of them would meet us, but we didn't hook up.
Met at Lenox Square, one of Atlanta's oldest malls, deep in the heart of
Buckhead, also known as "Uptown".
Ate at Tom Tom's, a Bistro. That's the whole name, "Tom Tom's, a Bistro".
It's one of those yuppie places with big prices and small food. But it was
very tasty! Brad had a filet of sole (right, Brad?), and I had a BBQ
Chicken pizza.
The restaurant was mostly empty. I think there were more people at the
sushi bar than in the rest of the restaurant.
We talked mostly about work, and how we're both fed up with it.
Of course, we mentioned our band once or twice, but didn't focus on them.
Other than that, I don't think there's a lot more detail. I don't remember
what Brad or I was wearing... ;-)
So who else on the list live in the same town as each other? Has anyone
else gotten together for dinner or anything? Just curious what other folks
are up to...
Steve
