for the price they are pretty impressive, though data compression means
that they aren't as 'good' as true 16-bit DAT or CD...

Sorry to say but I did not buy the radio show myself. I have to watch my
pennies lately and $20 for what it was wasn't interesting enough for me.
If it was from the first 2 albums I would have snatched it in a
heartbeat. Those interested in the show should post to the list, I hope
someone here got it.

We have received the following request from the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
Seven year old Craig Sheford has a brain tumor and has little time to live.
Craig turned in a wish to the Children's Make-A-Wish Foundation and has
expressed a desire to have an entry in the World Book of Records for the
largest collection of BUSINESS CARDS received by an individual.
You may send it directly to Craig at the following address:

This is one of the longest-running chain letters in the world. It even
predates the Internet. It is always a bad thing to send chain letters
to mailing lists.

Adam is absolutely right. The link is interesting though- you can see how
this whole thing mutated.
Sorry, I thought it was legitimate as it came in the form of our interoffice
memo from our corporate office (non email). Looks like someone much higher on
the totem pole got duped before I did. Please disregard the message. We now
return to our regular programming.

Hatters-
Apparently there is a terminally ill squirrel in Minnesota named 'Chip'.
Chip was diagnosed with a rare form of gout that will kill him within a few
months. Chip's dying wish is that before he passes he would like to
accumulate the largest collection of nuts in the world. Let's all help Chip
get his dying wish. Please send nuts to:
Chip the Squirrel
C/O The Chip Foundation
3435 N. Rocky St.
St. Paul MN, 47829
By the way, all types of nuts will count toward the goal. Peanuts,
pistachios, walnuts, etc. Thank you for helping this dying squirrel!

This has got to be a hoax. Chip doesn't have gout- I heard that he's simply
lactose intolerant and I don't think nuts will help him at all.

non-MWH-related musical discussions are ONE thing...but THIS is where *I* draw
the line....chains letters (whether the actual thing, or *in THIS case*
directions to such letters) have absolutely NO PLACE on this list WHATSOEVER!

Subject: (hats) European 'Very Best of' is out
Hi Hatters!
EMI Europe has just released a CD called 'Very best of MWH'. It includes
most of the tracks of the 2-4-1 CD (most tracks of ROY and Folk 3). On
the cover you can read that it's licenced from Oglio, U.S.A..
Is this the 'European Distribution of the 2-4-1 CD', Carl?
